The RNS Institute of Technology campus covers a huge land area of approximately 160 acres and it incorporates several facilities that students can utilise to improve their academic and overall well-being including library, gym, hostels, laboratories, and many more.
The premises of the Institute comprise numerous blocks including administrative, academic, and others which incorporate a wide array of facilities for the students. At the well-maintained campus of RNS Institute of Technology, numerous lecture halls & classrooms are available which are equipped with top-notch AV aids to impart knowledge to the students through presentations & simulations for better understanding. Few of the available classrooms can accommodate around 70 to 75 students at once.
A ‘Dr. R. N. Shetty Auditorium’ is present with seating arrangements of over 1200 individuals and it consists of requisite multimedia facilities as it serves as a venue to execute a wide variety of cultural & other types of events. Also, a ‘Dr. R. N. Shetty Mini Auditorium’ is also there for varied purposes. Along with these, numerous fully-equipped seminar halls are there inside the RNS Institute of Technology campus and the seating capacity of few of these ranges from 100 to 250 students.
Besides this, multiple other facilities are there for the students including board room, meeting room, vending machine, open-air amphitheatre, common rooms for boys & girls, and so on.
The detailed description of some of the RNS Institute of Technology campus facilities is as follows:
- Library: A library is available for the students at the Institute’s campus which comprises a vast variety of academic materials and adequate seating space so that they can uplift their educational prospects. It also incorporates a reference section, discussion lounges, and a digital library with various PCs through which students can browse several study resources that are available through online databases.
Within the premises Institute, MCA department has its separate library consisting of 200+ textbooks & 100+ sample projects, Physics library provides access to over 40 reference books, and apart from these there are multiple other departmental libraries.
- Laboratories: Central computing facilities / computer labs are available inside the campus of the Institute which incorporates numerous advanced & updated systems to provide practical understanding to the students regarding their subject-matter. At the RNS Institute of Technology campus, separate labs are present within departments like Electronics & Communications Engineering, Civil Engineering, and others.
Also, the available departmental laboratories include IoT lab, Geology Lab, Electrical Mechanics lab, and so on.
- Sports: The RNS Institute of Technology campus features several amenities for a wide range of games so that students can spend their free time playing their preferred sport which will also help them with their holistic growth. For outdoor games, 1 Cricket Ground, 1 Football Ground, 1 Basketball Court, and other facilities are present.
Besides this, students can access the amenities which are there inside the Institute premises for indoor games including around 5 Badminton Courts, TT Table, etc.
- Hostel: Separate hostels are there on-campus for boys & girls in which overall more than 500 students can be accommodated. There are over 170 triple sharing rooms inside the hostels which are spacious & equipped with necessary facilities. Also, the students staying at the RNS Institute of Technology Hostels are facilitated with separate messes with dining halls, common rooms, and so on.
- Food Court: A huge food court / canteen is there with sufficient seating arrangements inside the premises of the Institute and it serves various types of food, snacks, and beverage choices for the students so that they can grab quick bites between their lectures.
- Transportation: The Institute offers pick & drop services to the students through a number of buses so that they can regularly attend lectures and to ensure their punctuality and safety.
- Medical Facilities: At the RNS Institute of Technology campus, a medical consultation room is available with facilities like a bed, wheel chair, and others so that if students face any health related issue they can visit the same to consult regarding their problem.
