Aryabhatta College BMS Review By Abhishek Asiwal

Aryabhatta College is a great college in my point of view. It offers many courses which majority of other Delhi University colleges doesn’t offer like Bachelors in management studies and Bachelors in Business economics. These are some professional courses which are taught perfectly in Aryabhatta College.

The course, I am pursuing is Bachelor in Management Studies which is considered a professional course, the admission criterion is based on the Common University Entrance Test conducted by the national testing agency of India, students have to qualify for the exam and on the base of their marks a merit is created which decides which university student will get. Once the merit is out if the student has selected Delhi University as their option in the university form they can apply for the CSAS counseling process of Delhi University it is a 3 months process comprising many rounds of admissions. If the student meets the required criteria for admission to a Delhi university college, he/she gets his/her seat allocated.

The faculty is highly qualified and almost every teacher in my department is a master's degree holder in their subjects. The teachers are very great at teaching also, the thing I didn't like was that some teachers don't provide study materials for exams and don't even make the syllabus clear until and unless they are pressured to do so.

The campus is joined with the Ram Lal Anand College's campus and they share a single ground for sports, the college has two buildings currently namely Kusumpur and Taregana. Talking about the amenities the college has a canteen, student utility center, a juice corner, seminar hall, multipurpose room, and faculty research centre and girls room. New buildings are in the process of construction and they are expected to be done by 2025.

The campus life is also good, students come from various backgrounds and are mostly from middle-class families. Most students are from outside India and live as paying guests or in their rented rooms in Satya Niketan. The college has many societies which organize fests from time to time.
