Mody University B.A Review By Kritika Choudhary

In all over India where different universities are emerging as a prominent structure for youth education, Mody University of Science and Technology is one of the considerable universities. It is located in Lakshmangarh in Rajasthan, India. It was established in 1998 by Mr. R.P Mody. It’s a private women’s university-affiliated with UGC, the university is nurturing all the women who want to do something valuable for society as well as for themselves by imparting knowledge.

I am a student of this Mody University currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Arts (Hons.) in psychology. I have three subjects under Guidance and counseling, Psychopathology and psychological testing, experimental psychology, social psychology, industrial and organizational psychology. The reason behind taking these subjects is to get a professional highly lucrative career. there are so many different courses available in the university related to different streams like animation and design, arts, humanities, and social science, law, mass media humanities, and journalism, etc. we can choose according to our interest. Mody University Admission process for this is simple. There is no entrance test. Based on marks we get admission. Approx. 60% is required to take the admission in your suitable stream. The best thing I love about academics is we have so many options in streams. Unlimited stuff is provided by the university.

The management of the campus is too good. all faculty is very well qualified with the experience of a minimum of four to five years for every stream there is a piece of good knowledge, well-experienced lecturers and assistant professor in which most of them are PhD holders in their respective subjects and expert in their way of teaching with a piece of abundant knowledge. All faculty members are very supportive and cooperative with their students. There is a very healthy and positive environment among students and teachers which shows that the surrounding of the university is pushing students to grow in a great good and confident person.

The placements facility is available for limited graduate programs like MBA, Engineering etc., still, we get the good companies on the campus like Infosys, Reliance. For my course yet no placement facility started, so the placements are comparatively low. Approximately 60-70% of students got the placements from the companies of our campus.

The hostel facility is very prominent on the campus. There are air-conditioned rooms provided with all the necessary facilities and 24 hours water supply in the hostel. Clean and hygienic washrooms are there for students. The food provided in the mess is also of very good quality. Proper meals are there according to schedule. And the mess is very clean and hygienic. The environment of the hostel is very secure. There is security in every corner of the campus. Guards are there on the grounds and there is no entry and exit of the students without proper identity checking and gate pass.

The campus area is spread in two hundred and sixty-five acres. Seventy-three buildings were constructed on the campus. All classrooms, seminar halls, auditoriums are very huge with full space and there are projectors and blackboards in every room. The use of the latest technology and gadgets are there on the campus. Digital teaching training is provided by the teachers. Online activities and presentations are done for the students. The computer labs at Mody University are equipped with the latest technologies of computers and smart LEDs. Apart from all of this, there is one central library available on the campus with lots of books of different authors, writers, etc. There are two cafeterias on the campus where the food quality is very good at reasonable prices. There are two auditoria on the campus one is large and another is small for different workshops, seminars, and celebrations. There are huge playgrounds with a basketball court and tennis court, hockey ground and horse riding are also one of the main attractions.

The campus is lush green and there is cleanliness all around the campus which adherence its beauty. From all over India girls come to study in this university. So the campus develops a different environment in itself because students got the chance to interact with different people of different cultures, engage themselves in different activities like horse riding and many sports activities, cultural programs. Contrasting clubs were organized like dance, poetry, human growth, plantation, etc. Fest and annual functions are there in the university where students take part with great enthusiasm and joy with traditions. It’s a safe and secure place for girls that give wings to their future and empowerment with lots of confidence and great personality.
