Mody University, a place where every woman is the symbol of empowerment. This university is located in 'Laxmangarh' , which is a town in Rajasthan. MU provides multiple courses in the field of engineering, law, fashion, graphic designing, pharmacy, etc. This University was established in the year of 1989 by Mr. Rajendra Prasad Mody. I believe every student must prefer MU as it provides education and opportunities to accomplish dreams. MU has been awarded NAAC Accreditation in the year 2023. At MU, many international conferences and debates takes place which helps students to inculcate new ideologies and beliefs. Here students also get opportunities to explore the world by getting international and national internships. Mr Rajendra Prasad Mody has not only opened the doors for women but also for young girls by giving an opportunity to get their admission in ‘Mody School’.

To empower every girl child with education, Mr. Rajaendra Prasad Mody established ‘Mody University’. I firmly believe, MU has given me an opportunity to pursue my dream of becoming an Advocate. I pursued BA LL.B. (Hons.) in IPR. To enroll in BA LL.B. (Hons.), a student must meet the eligibility criterion which includes qualifying 12th with 60% of minimum percentage and submitting other supporting documents. Also, BA LL.B. (Hons.) is a 5 year integrated program which includes 10 semesters and after each semester, a student must do their internships at local / session / high / supreme court and must obtain the internship certificates. To get the degree of law, a student must pass every subject and he / she should have at least 20 weeks internship experience according to the Bar Council of India.

At Mody University, Faculties must have their Doctorate Degrees in order to teach students according to new rules assigned by UGC. Faculties are student friendly and help students to understand the concepts with their lectures and extra classes. The Faculty of Law even provides notes and keeps the students up to date with the case laws and judgment of ‘High Court and Supreme Court’.

The residential facilities at Mody University and Mody School are remarkable as it provides students to have their own well furnished rooms with advanced amenities such as A.C., TV, Newspapers, Wi-Fi, etc. The mess provides 4 times meal and the supply of milk two times a day at each hostel. Students of university staying at boarding are allowed to carry their electronic appliances and take outings. For hostellers, the university has special infirmary (clinic) for their health conditions, in case of emergencies students are taken to the hospitals by ambulances of Mody University. Also, the cleanliness at university and hostels are well-maintained by its supporting staffs.

The university has been spread over 265 acres where we have two auditoriums and two college buildings. The one building is a Business school and other building has schools such as School of Engineering, Law, etc. At Mody University, schools for different courses are introduced namely School of Law, School of Buisness, Schoool of Design, School of Pharmacy, School of Liberal Arts, etc. We have more than 20+ hostel buildings which have all the amenities such as washrooms, beds, chairs, tables, A.C., TV, Almirah, etc. The other facilities of the university include Ram Mandir popularly known as 'Tapovan', manmade lakes, yoga center, mess, 2 cafeteria, library, digital library, legal aid cells, moot court room, biology labs, chemistry labs, physics labs etc.

I have been a boarder at Mody University and I am obliged to be a part of it as this university looks after the safety of the girls. It also looks after organising co-curricular activities such as sports which includes horse riding, basketball, handball, etc. Every weekend we use to get opportunity to go on local outings and watch movies in Auditorium. We had multiple clubs such as dance, music, games, drama, etc. to keep ourselves busy with our day to day life and new learning. Also, every year Mody University celebrates its ‘Foundation Week’ in the month of January where each day is filled with joy and laughter. In the week of Foundation Day Celebration, the students are awarded with their degrees at Convocation and along with the degree distribution; the university organises programs such as musical night, annual college day, annual function of Mody School, Havan at Tapovan, etc. There are multiple programs and competitions organised for students for their betterment and skill development.
