My Views on Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology

Overall Rating
My overall experience at institute was good and I have chosen this university because of its placements and quality of education. This is the university where if you study well then your career and future will be well and good or else students will be get into groups, fights and also habituated to drinking and smoking outside the premises. Nothing more special about this college just like regular functionalities in colleges and universities. But a little expensive because of its branding name and fame.
 

Academics Rating
An intermediate pass out can join this college easily without any issue regardless of percentage or marks you got. I have taken general computer science course and it was good because of my Hod sir he was very strict towards both academic and discipline if anyone fall under any type of violation of the rules he was ready to suspend those students. We can join this college directly or by paying extra donation. Currently tuition fee per year is around 3.5 lakh.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are same as regular universities and colleges. They won’t care whether you are listening to them or using mobile in class, these are not a big issues here. But if we listen to the class we can understand the topic easily and they will clear the doubts there itself. The entire faculty is having minimum master’s degree for their eligibility. But you will have to study by yourself also.
 

Placement Rating
Yes placements are very good in this college but now a day’s it’s counting is gradually decreasing due to huge number of students and lack of knowledge. Most of the students are not getting jobs through the college. Internships also very limited here only a few will apply and get the internship opportunity. The other students don’t show any interest in internships.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes hostel was superb for food and infrastructure. Every day non veg is available including Saturday too. Drinking water and Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. The rooms are clean and well maintained by the hostel in charge. hostel fee is around one lakh. Gym facility is also available in the hostels, but you will have to pay extra money for that.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is excellent for newly constructing buildings. Transport facilities and food facility is also available in the college. We can use the service of bus to the college by just showing ID card. Where ever you go in the university you need your ID while entering and exit and even accessing to library.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is boring some times. CSE is the only branch in university with highest number of 26 sections and each section has a limit of 60 students. There are so many students clubs present here we can join whatever we are interested in. Different events happen regularly at least one in any department. Very few fests and other engagement activities take place yearly.
