Overall Rating
I pursued my bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from this university. Our university is having NAAC accreditation of A++. University is accommodated with huge research facilities and labs, where we can explore a lot into the practical knowledge.
 

Academics Rating
I completed my Bachelor's in Aeronautical Engineering. The entry requirements are quite simple that you need to complete your secondary high school with a minimum of 65%. And you must be a student of Math, Physics and Chemistry. If you really want experience about the aerodynamics, space science and real world physics, dive into the best way.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are well qualified and having huge research knowledge, which can drive you from basics to the advanced technology's and projects. Faculty is the best guide to care about your first step of career. They involve students in their research to create a new vision and help the students to create wonders.
 

Placement Rating
Vel Tech University is having a great placement cell that offers huge opportunities to students to choose their career options. Also offers international internships where students can fly to other countries for more exposure.
 

Hostel Rating
Vel Tech is having the best hostels with good food and facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Vel Tech University is greatly improved for students to enhance and explore their future with all the skills, facilities and opportunities. Students need to work in different projects from the beginning of the course to build their practical skills and team skills. University provides us with a huge expert knowledge through workshops and seminars.
 

Campus Rating
Vel Tech University is also a hub for collection of talent with the interest. Apart from studies students need to be a part of extracurricular activities such as clubs like Arts club, NCC, NSS, UBA, Dance club etc. to develop group activities. University also conducts a variety of events and fests for students throughout the year. Also all festivals are celebrated in the college for bringing the students of different backgrounds together.

    I am student of Electronic and Communication branch of my college. Vel Tech University is located in outer side of Chennai. My college is overall 7 out of 10. There are many pros and cons of college Here faculty are very biased with people. It depends upon your spoken language and behavior like I am person who come from north Indian state so I faced a lot problem initially but if you catch up with it you can go for this college.     Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR University, Chennai has a good infrastructure and I feel like it does not need to be improved. I wish that the academics could be developed for Mechanical and Civil Engineering.
