Vel Tech University has Good infrastructure & Discipline

Overall Rating
It has been a very amazing experience for me. The environment is student friendly as it encourages student to boost up their skills and experience in whatever field they want. The placements are one of the most talked things about this University. The Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR University has a very strong alumni network.
 

Academics Rating
I choose Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering (B.Tech CSE) due to my deep interest in programming, system design, and emerging technologies like AI & Cyber Security. The course offers a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of computing which aligns with my career goals in software development and software architecture. To be eligible candidates must have with Physics, Chemistry, and And Mathematics.
For the B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering course the fee structure is typically divided semester costs approximately for all the students. For the students of financially weaker sections, the University gives upto 100% tuition fee waiver based on annual income and category.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members teaching in my course are highly qualified as most of them hold PhD degrees in their respective fields. Many have published in the areas like AI, Cyber Security, and And Data Science. The teacher to student ratio is good. Faculty members are approachable and supportive often available beyond class hours guidance on projects, internships and career advice.
 

Placement Rating
The University offers placements to the students. Every year, many students from the University are placed in renowned companies. I have heard that placements for my department have been excellent for past few years.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University's campus area is 66.75 acres. It has separate blocks for each department with wide corridors and clean surroundings. The classrooms are spacious with seating many books and digital resources. Labs are well equipped for coding and hardware practice. There is a seminar hall, auditorium and conference rooms for rooms and talks. The canteen servers tasty food. Several sports facilities are also offered to us.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in my University is best and full of learning beyond the classroom. The student crowd is huge and friendly and supportive which makes it easy to connect with collaborate. My University also has several clubs. I am also active part of the coding club where we participate in hackathons and coding challenges. The University regularly organises activity such as cultural night’s events like the University fest and departmental events.

    I am student of Electronic and Communication branch of my college. Vel Tech University is located in outer side of Chennai. My college is overall 7 out of 10. There are many pros and cons of college Here faculty are very biased with people. It depends upon your spoken language and behavior like I am person who come from north Indian state so I faced a lot problem initially but if you catch up with it you can go for this college.     Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR University, Chennai has a good infrastructure and I feel like it does not need to be improved. I wish that the academics could be developed for Mechanical and Civil Engineering.
