SILVER OAK UNIVERSITY (SOU)

Overall Rating
My experience at Silver Oak University is not good. Because I had faced so many problems in college like the classrooms, placements, and other things like location of Silver Oak University I faced problem to travel to the University. The campus is very bad and the food court when I was studying was not good because it has barely lists of food items.
 

Academics Rating
My course was B.Tech IT. Now when every student want to enroll in IT field and want to make more money, the competition is very high and the technologies they teach is not demanded in IT field now and the placement is very bad. College eligibility is nothing if you pass 12th at 33% you can get admission in college. They just try to earn money through every possible way like yearly extra fees 750₹ and year normal fee for it is 78000 so it is a very costly college.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are the college pass out students who just want to find an urgent job. Faculties don't have good experience and their way of teaching is too old fashioned. They just show the code on notepad. But most of faculties are co-operative also. They also help us. They teach us code mostly in lectures not in lab.
 

Placement Rating
Well the placement was a very bad experience for me. Because I was not selected for any company. I had skills but the companies were just too low in numbers and the college has high amount of students who want jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
Well the hostel room is too small and there are too less facilities in there.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Well the worst things about Silver Oak University are that they have the worst structure of building. Like they don't know what they going to do in future they are just reconstructing every building and after completion they don't stop. They repeat that like they created food court in front of block E and after 1 year they destroy it and create a new food court in front of block B.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd in Silver Oak University is very bad at exam time because all of students appeared at college for exam and system for exam management is very bad. It just like we are in some local market where we have to push people to go forward. So very bad experience at college for me is at exam time.

    Regular lectures start at 10 AM from 3rd semester. Each subject has lab sessions of 2 hours based on the lecture credits. The overall experience as a student has been good except few things such as Assignment allocation time and workload in the month of examination. We are given assignments of almost all the subjects before the Mid-Sem Examination which increases the workload and the festival holidays follows after mid sem exams resulting into more pressure during end sem exams....
