SVC New Delhi Teaches to Work Harder for the Future

Overall Rating
I like being part of the Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi as much as anything. Stay focused and locked in with studies at this point in life is the most overall thing that I have learned so far. I am a part of 2 societies and varieties of societies are there to be a part of. Actually first year was fantastic as seniors were running after us to be included in the societies. Since then the worm of growth both in terms of life and academics has gone up and up.
 

Academics Rating
Studying just before the exams will never make you win as even though DU hardly fails students but to score well one has to be clever with academics. Academics pressure hardly rises here because faculties know something has to give and therefore they prepare us that way.
Rs. 33,790/- is my yearly fees and it is a little less for SC, ST, and OBC students and scholarship program depends on grades and reservation category they are applying under.
 

Faculty Rating
I actually wondered how the DU faculties would line up. With faculty knowledge and support, there's no real trouble with academics as they make their availability to us as and when required. I always judge people with impact and intent and our facilities have both of highest level.
 

Placement Rating
Mostly freshers from Life Sciences are provided jobs with MSL, R&D, and Manufacturing roles with an average pay package of 5 LPA to 6 LPA. For Economics (Hons.) and B.Com.(Hons), placements are too good.
 

Hostel Rating
The College Shri Balaji Hostel for boys and the other one is Shri Padmavati Hostel for girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
SVC New Delhi is one of the biggest and probably the best DU College for infrastructure. It has two beautiful auditoriums. Playing area houses Tennis Court, Badminton Court, and a huge playground with football and Cricket. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned now and benches. Canteen is average.
 

Campus Rating
Classes usually last for 6 to 7 hours but I still spend around 8 to 10 hours in College. This is because the College offers a prolific campus life where interacting with juniors now since I am senior and head of Fine Arts Association. I have to manage nearly 250 members of the society. Therefore, this role at my College life will surely help me in future and likewise there are many such opportunities comes at the College, if one actually wants to learn and grow.

    Sri Venkateswara College New Delhi has excellent infrastructure, prime location in south campus with easy connectivity and proximity to airport. The cultural fest provides great exposure and fun. Canteen serves very affordable, delicious, and hygienic food, making it favorite student spot. Maggi point offers refreshing coffee and maggi.     The overall facilities at Sri Venkateshwara College are excellent. It is one of the best colleges of South Campus of Delhi University. When I found out the alumni of this college are placed at top MNCs, I had decided to be one of them and took admission here.     It's have been a year now and honestly I like the campus of Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi. Although the campus is not that big as North campus Colleges but being here is worth it. The greenery and huge crowd and the canteen food always set the mood. Talking about the societies, well there are a lot more you can learn and the seniors are super sweet.
