POV of Bachelor’s Student at SVC New Delhi

Overall Rating
Coming to this College was a dream come true. I am lucky that our College has a sports quota, therefore even a low CUET score helped me get admission here. Since the sports facilities out of all the Colleges are best, it was my first choice College and so happy to be a part of it. One year has ended and I had an amazing experience.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Sc Statistics (Hons.) as Math was my favorite subject. Yes, our course has majority of Math but then there are other subjects like Statistical theory and Data Analysis. In this year, which is second year we will also be taught programming languages like C++, Python, and others. Course is definitely best.
Fee of my course close to Rs. 35,000/- per year. Around Rs. 1,30,000/- to Rs. 1,40,000/- is what I will be paying for my entire course. Sports quota students do not get any other scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
Experts or masters I cannot have the exact adjective but overall, they are really nice. Everything is taught on smart boards and through PPTs. At the Sri Venkateswara College New Delhi, faculties are quite helpful as they are Ph.D holders.
 

Placement Rating
I am still a fresher but did witness placements drive this year and was amazed to see the number of students who were placed this year. Every year the placements benchmark is set higher and higher. Placement Cell of our College is doing a marvelous job is all that I know.
 

Infrastructure Rating
I feel like our College's library and reading hall are the best. The amount of greenery we have at our campus is amazing and sports facilities as I have already mentioned are definitely the best. From Rock Garden to Botanical Garden, our College has maintained them all as well as each garden is watered daily and there are experts assigned to look after them.
 

Campus Rating
‘Chakravyuh’ which is our College’s annual Sports Meet is arguably the best sports event of DU. Me being a sports person couldn't have asked for more and with my performances in the last year annual sports meet I will be leading the badminton team from this year onwards. I came here for good academics and being from a sports background, I didn't wanted to miss out on that as well and thus, SVC New Delhi has offered me both sides of a coin.

    Sri Venkateswara College New Delhi has excellent infrastructure, prime location in south campus with easy connectivity and proximity to airport. The cultural fest provides great exposure and fun. Canteen serves very affordable, delicious, and hygienic food, making it favorite student spot. Maggi point offers refreshing coffee and maggi.   • SVC New Delhi Boy's Hostel is Known as 'Shri Balaji Hostel'

    I like being part of the Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi as much as anything. Stay focused and locked in with studies at this point in life is the most overall thing that I have learned so far. I am a part of 2 societies and varieties of societies are there to be a part of. Actually first year was fantastic as seniors were running after us to be included in the societies. Since then the worm of growth both in terms of life and academics has gone up and up....     The overall facilities at Sri Venkateshwara College are excellent. It is one of the best colleges of South Campus of Delhi University. When I found out the alumni of this college are placed at top MNCs, I had decided to be one of them and took admission here.     It's have been a year now and honestly I like the campus of Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi. Although the campus is not that big as North campus Colleges but being here is worth it. The greenery and huge crowd and the canteen food always set the mood. Talking about the societies, well there are a lot more you can learn and the seniors are super sweet.
