Overall Rating
The overall facilities at Sri Venkateshwara College are excellent. It is one of the best colleges of South Campus of Delhi University. When I found out the alumni of this college are placed at top MNCs, I had decided to be one of them and took admission here. The best part is this college not only teaches you to stick to your academics only, it teaches you to explore many societies according to your interests.
 

Academics Rating
Economics Honours is often perceived as the difficult course but if you are a true economics enthusiast, then you’ll excel in this course. The only eligibility they ask you is the requirement of Mathematics in your XI and XII grade and scoring required marks in CUET. The college conducts 2 semester exams per year with internal exams that makes up your whole CGPA.
Sri Venkateshwara College is very affordable. The fee for my course is Rs. 22,000/- per year. The Economics Association charges Rs. 500/- every year for its working operations and conduction of events. However, the special quota students like SC and ST are provided scholarships depending on their merit and some specific criteria. Overall, the fee structure is very affordable.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at our College is great. Our majority of the lecturers have done their Master's and Ph.D qualifications from either Delhi School of Economics or JNU. Although their teaching method includes the use of blackboard only, but the activities assigned by them like projects, research work etc. are great. The professors are always approachable and ready to help. The best part is Mentor-Mentee sessions in our college in which they assign one mentor to a certain group of students for career counselling and other issues they might be facing in the college which is very helpful and also prepares us for future opportunities.
 

Placement Rating
The Placement Cell of our College is very active in providing placements and internships. The Placement drive is conducted for every company which comes to the Campus. The renowned companies that visit our campus for recruitment every year include Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, E., Bain and Company, Barclays, Accenture, etc. The highest package offered by our recruiters is above 13 LPA. Internship opportunities are also floated on the regular basis, and a great exposure is provided to the students by organising the annual event of the Placement Cell, which is The Internship Fair.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities are provided by our college for both girls and boys separately. The hostel is located inside the campus and the admission in the hostel is decided on merit basis. The food facility is also there in the hostel for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. The rooms are comfortable and no outsider is allowed. Every room has a study table, wardrobe, and 2 beds as one room is shared by two residents.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has modern infrastructure facilities. It has in total 3 buildings which are Arts Block, Science Block, and New Building which has been made recently. The library is very spacious and has great seating capacity and books collection. The canteen is very affordable, and all has all food categories on their menu. The campus is totally clean and full of greenery and positivity with a temple of Lord Venkateshwara at its entrance. The classrooms are spacious with the seating capacity of 65-80 people with the smart board facility as well.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at our College is full of exposure since it organises Delhi University's largest fest- Nexus. All kinds of societies are found in this college. The college crowd is great, and seniors are very supportive and always ready to help.

    I always dreamt of being in Shri Venkateswara College when I was in class 12th. The infrastructure is very well maintained with spacious classes and playing ground. The large amount of greenery makes everything peaceful. The teachers ensure continuous classes and disciplined study environment, thereby making this College one of the best in Delhi University.     My experience at SVC New Delhi is very good. I made many friends, learned a lot of new things, met diverse people and enjoyed a lot.     The overall experience of Sri Venkateswara College New Delhi is overwhelming positive as it is welcoming, inclusive, and supportive. All the students feel valued and respected.     Intelligent and knowledgeable teachers who also help you in your personal issues as a mentor. The college has good management and senior-junior relationships are also good in here. Events which make the whole college participative and an enjoyable place supporting faculty and communities.
