Overall Rating
Overall, my experience has been good here. I have enjoyed studying. At the Sri Venkateswara College New Delhi, the teachers are helpful, the curriculum is interesting, and labs are accessible. Apart from course, the extracurricular activities like dance, debate, and singing are also held. I am very happy with my decision to join this one for Bachelors'.
 

Academics Rating
I am a Biochemistry student. The eligibility condition for the same is to have good marks in CUET UG. After this, if you are lucky enough to get name in selected list, you are enrolled in the course. It opens the feed of research well for you. The curriculum focuses duly on practical aspects and lab experience. The exposure in labs and practical learning makes students able enough to gain Internships and lab working experiences. Although, the exam fee also consists charges for lab equipments, it is all worth it.
The per year fee of my course offered by Sri Venkateswara College New Delhi is Rs. 28,000/- and the exam fee has to be paid separately. There are special scholarships available for those who fulfill the SC/ST or other criteria. Other merit based scholarships are also available.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is great, helpful, and interested in teaching. They are easily approachable and more than willing to solve your doubts. PPTs are the most common teaching method used by the members. They keep on having practical discussions around the topic while teaching as well. This helps students in building interest in the coursework and helps in overall enhancement of knowledge. Apart from my course, other department teachers are also good.
 

Placement Rating
The Placement Cell of College is quite good. They bring renowned companies every year, and we have an internship fair, which welcomes students from diverse streams.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities of the SVC New Delhi are decent. The food is hygienically cooked and prepared. Girls’ and boys’ hostels are separate. You are allowed to go for 2 to 3 overnight stays per month (after submitting application and taking warden’s permission).
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are separate academic blocks for Science and Arts. All the labs are equipped with necessary equipment, which are good as well. Library has good seating capacity. The canteen food is good as well. There are three academic blocks. Recently constructed ‘Durgabai Deshmukh block is a new Science block. The ground and sports facilities are good as well, with enough sports equipment. The best part of College’s infrastructure is the lawns and greenery.
 

Campus Rating
The campus crowd is very fine. There are various societies in our College for debate, dance, singing, and art. There are departmental societies as well which are for academic rigor and a few NGO based societies. I am also a part of a few of them. The annual fest i.e., ‘Nexus’ organised is widely renowned throughout the across DU.

    Sri Venkateswara College New Delhi has excellent infrastructure, prime location in south campus with easy connectivity and proximity to airport. The cultural fest provides great exposure and fun. Canteen serves very affordable, delicious, and hygienic food, making it favorite student spot. Maggi point offers refreshing coffee and maggi.   • SVC New Delhi Boy's Hostel is Known as 'Shri Balaji Hostel'

    I like being part of the Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi as much as anything. Stay focused and locked in with studies at this point in life is the most overall thing that I have learned so far. I am a part of 2 societies and varieties of societies are there to be a part of. Actually first year was fantastic as seniors were running after us to be included in the societies. Since then the worm of growth both in terms of life and academics has gone up and up....     The overall facilities at Sri Venkateshwara College are excellent. It is one of the best colleges of South Campus of Delhi University. When I found out the alumni of this college are placed at top MNCs, I had decided to be one of them and took admission here.     It's have been a year now and honestly I like the campus of Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi. Although the campus is not that big as North campus Colleges but being here is worth it. The greenery and huge crowd and the canteen food always set the mood. Talking about the societies, well there are a lot more you can learn and the seniors are super sweet.
