Hello folks I am studying in KIET Group of Institutions and it are my first semester here. What I have seen in the 5 month in my college is that the KIET college is majorly focused on the academics. They want to maintain each and every student’s SPGA. This college is not much placement oriented college as I feel, because I have enrolled in Technocrats Club of this college it's been 6 months now and they have not yet provided trainings for DSA or any programming language besides C which is added in AKTU curriculum. The college is very strict in attendance even if you have 74.99 percent attendance they will not let you to sit in exams and then they take your extra classes. I don’t like the timings as it’s from 9:10 to 4:50 and it is also 6 days a week. I suggest students to take admission in this college only if they can handle study pressure. They give assignments too. The placements in 2023 were not good.

If you are taking admission on the basis of the academics then this college is top notch in terms of the academics. The notes provided here are top notch. The college also revises each and every chapter. They gave assignments too for better preparations.

I must say that the faculty of the KIET is top notch or 5 stars rated teachers. The math teachers of this college are just amazing. The teachers are providing their full material on a platform named model where they give previous year’s question paper. The teachers are of friendly nature.

As I have completed only 1st semester in this college I don't have broad information about the placements but I have information that there are 1400 students in 4th year batch and only of 250 students are placed. The intake of 4th year is 1400 and only 250 students are placed out of which 10 students got a package of only 8 LPA and rest are placed with a package of 3-4 LPA only.

The hostel facilities are very good. Wi-Fi connection, proper water cooler and 24 hour electricity connection is available in the hostel. The food provided by the mess is average.

The college infrastructure is good. The G block building which is assigned to 1st year is the best building of this college. The college has lift, water cooler, and canteens (it has 9 canteens) for the food. It has library also which has a collection of 3000 books. There is reading hall also in this college which is very helpful for studying.

As such the campus life depends on the individual the college has a playground for cricket and volleyball. In addition to this, indoor games like table tennis, archery and many more are also available in the college. A gym is also present in the college campus. You cannot Enter in this college after the 5pm if you are a day scholar. The id card is must in this college. The college is pretty disciplined in terms of ragging as no ragging cases are reported till now.
