Manav Rachna University is a university located in Faridabad. It caters to students from all over India in courses such as engineering, physiotherapy, law, microbiology, and hotel management. It has a grade of A from the NAAC. The engineering programs are approved by AICTE. The University has many experienced teachers. Aside from academics, the college provides many extra-curricular opportunities as well. Students can take part in several different sports or clubs in the college. The placements are pretty good compared to most colleges, and there is a placement cell that helps students get placed in companies of their choice. There are hostels located on campus for both boys and girls. They provide all the necessities, so students can concentrate on their studies and extra-curricular activities. A perfect mix of studies as well as extra-curricular activities can be found at Manav Rachna University.

I pursued my Bachelors of Technology degree at this college. The department I was in was computer science and technology. I chose this course because most of my family is in the same stream, and recommended that I also go into it. This college has an annual batch of about 150 students for this course. To be eligible, you need to have obtained a score of at least 60% in your 12th standard examination. The classes that we had to take include subjects like the basic sciences, engineering classes, and social sciences. We also had to get two internship credits. I would say that the classes were up to my expectations here. I initially struggled with classes in the first couple of semesters because I was still trying to figure out how to manage my time. However, once you figure that out, you will be able to handle the course load here with ease. I will rate them highly on academics and put Manav Rachna University at par with topmost Universities of Delhi-NCR.

My department had about 50 faculty. The majority of them had their doctorates, and they were highly qualified. The average years of teaching experience for my teachers was around 15 years. As most of the teachers were experienced, they taught us well. Most of them also kept up with the current updates in the industry. They would make sure to update us as well so that we went out into our careers with the latest knowledge.

Manav Rachna University placement and training cell and officers were very helpful in my department. They coordinated with industry leaders to help us get internships. There would be a mentor that would be assigned to each student. We would have to provide them updates about our internship including showing them our weekly reports and training diaries. We got to get trained well with internships. Coming to placements, the college organizes interviews with various companies like TCS and LinkedIn. The average package was about 5 lakhs per annum, which was pretty good. The highest package that a company provided during my year of graduation was 17 lakhs per annum.

There are a total of 4 hostels. Two of these are allocated for girls and two are allocated for boys. The hostels have a capacity of about 200 students. Three of the hostels are located directly on the campus itself. One of the girls’ hostels is located off-campus. The hostels are pretty good. Manav Rachna University Hostel Fee depends upon room types as there are rooms with AC and without AC you can choose accordingly the kind of rooms you want. The cafeteria at the hostels provides food four times a day, and this includes an evening snack. The food is mostly north Indian. There is non-vegetarian food provided twice a week. The hostels have security, generator, laundry facilities, and cleaning staff.

Manav Rachna University campus area is fairly large, and there is a lot of open space to go for walks. There is a library on campus that has Wi-Fi facilities. Inside, you can also avail of Xerox and scanning facilities. There are many tables and chairs set up here, so you can come here to study as well. There is a clinic on campus, and you can go here for any medical needs. There are a lot of places to eat on campus which includes a juice shop, snack shack, and a subway. Also, there are many food joints near the campus and if you are not satisfied with the food facilities on the campus; you can go out and grab a bite. The University library is heavily stocked but has time restrictions. There are many fields for various sports. These include fields for cricket, table tennis, basketball, and volleyball.

I would say that this campus is nice. The teachers are highly qualified and helped us develop the skills required to progress in our career. Aside from this, there are many extra-curricular activities to be a part of. The annual fest is called Resurrection, and it is a three-day fest that is held every year. There are about 8 different categories of competitions including a fashion show, dance, and singing. Colleges from all over India come to participate in the fest. This college provided me with several opportunities that helped me excel academically and personally.
