Overall Rating
VSSUT is the best engineering college for the MCA course, the placement, campus life, and the hostel life ever. This college is hyped college among Odisha for the engineering fields so I choose MCA course with that. The MCA course will help you learn how to work in a team, act with others, understand the main problem, how to react to it, give presentations, etc.
 

Academics Rating
There is an entrance exam called OJEE to take admission in the VSSUT. After getting OJEE rank the college allotted according to that rank. There is some reservation for SC/ST category students and for women students also having some reservation. You need to complete your BCA or B.Sc degree in Computer Science with at least 60% aggregate to appear for an admission test conducted by the university/department.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are highly educated means they are Ph.D scholars and some are professor also. Their teaching style is little bit different from others college teachers. In this semester we have 5 subjects. My college teachers employ diverse teaching styles, ranging from traditional lectures to interactive discussions and hands-on activities.
 

Placement Rating
The placement record of our institution is commendable, with a high percentage of students securing promising job offers each year. Top companies across various sectors like Deloitte, Accenture, JSW, Tata Steel, etc. visit our campus, offering diverse job roles and competitive salaries. 90% students are placed in every year. Overall, the institution's placement efforts ensure a bright future for its graduates in the ever evolving job market.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is best thing in VSSUT and we 3 students are allotted in one room and also having 2 beds, 2 tables, 2 chairs, and 3 cupboards. The facilities include well-furnished rooms with study areas, common rooms, and laundry services. The infrastructure ensures safety and comfort with 24/7 security and maintenance.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 4 blocks in the campus having different departments along with classrooms, canteen, e-learning centre, swimming pool, incubation centre, and a big central library. Cafeterias, recreational areas, and sports facilities cater to students' overall well-being and leisure. Overall, the campus offers a conducive setting for academic excellence and personal development.
 

Campus Rating
The diverse crowd creates a vibrant atmosphere, fostering friendships, and cultural exchange. Various clubs cater to different interests, from arts to sports, dance, music, swimming, etc. Festivals and events add excitement throughout the year, showcasing talents and celebrating diversity. Engaging activities like workshops, seminars, and guest lecturers enrich the learning experience beyond classrooms.

    In terms of money it's awesome. Faculties are doing well. Campus life will be memorable. Many view points are also nearby. Mess food is better. You have to adjust yourself according to routine. In terms of placements, core branch have better opportunity than CSE. Many food stalls are also available along the college sides.
