Best place for education

Overall Rating
Overall review for this institute would be that it has amazing facilities and it provides you best views of nature. The feels like living on a mountain also with modern facilities is awesome. Its authorities are quite supportive and they encourage students to take part in various character-building programs and fests. This institute also provides very good placements.
 

Academics Rating
The academics of this institute are very great. In order to enroll in this college you have to clear JEE MAINS with good ranks and apply for JOSAA counselling. This institute provides all the major engineering courses. It has competent authorities for the subjects. There are no major or minor courses here.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty are great at teaching and their ways are effective. Most of the teachers have Ph.D or have done M.Tech in their respective subjects. They encourage students to take part in various career-building programs. They are allowed to take part in extracurricular activities. There are also some senior teachers who have a conventional way of teaching. They feel dishonoured if students don't follow their rules.
 

Placement Rating
The placement was great for last year. Many big companies have been visiting the campus such as GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, ORACLE, JSW, TCS, INFOSYS, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Although one cannot compare hostel and home but here the hostels are as per guidelines. These Guidelines are set by government for institute of national importance.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is quite great and worth watching. There are 10+ hostels, 2 big lecture halls, and an auditorium with a capacity of 1000 students. There is a playground for sports. This institute also has an SAC and it has every indoor game with advanced facilities. The classrooms are conventional.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life here is all about exploring nature as the campus is 350 acres of land filled with forest. There are 4 cafeterias here and many other facilities that make the student's life worth living. Nightouts are not allowed here so all you shall do is to be done in the boundaries of campus.

    In terms of infrastructure and architecture, my college resides on the top portion of our country. NIT Hamirpur is situated on a hill top of district Hamirpur and surrounded by a forest with old classically built building. The second thing which I like most in my college is the helping nature of the seniors and facilities towards the juniors.     It’s my 2nd semester here and I am really enjoying here. It's was my dream to come and study here. The college life here is quite peaceful as it is situated a few kms away from the main road. The students here are very sharp minded and their friendly nature has made me to feel home here. There is every facility which you need in your daily life.
