Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology is autonomous college, in Pune. It is situated in upper side of Kondhawa, Budruk. It is one of the best engineering colleges in Pune. VIIT is strict towards academics but college also provides good facility in sports area. Many international students also took admission in the college. VIIT Kondhwa is the awesome college for engineering as its more concentration towards knowledge. VIIT college is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). NAAC give A Grade to college. Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology Course Admission process is conducted on the basis of MHT-CET entrance exam and JEE mains. College management is very good towards student that they really help student for being comfortable.

Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology is really strict towards academics. I had selected mechanical engineering stream for my B- tech degree. Eligibility criteria for taking admission in VIIT is 10+2 and mostly admission got by MHT-CET exam which is conduct by Maharashtra government. Students can also get admission through JEE-mains. I was really interested in mechanics so I had chosen this stream. All course outcomes are done by our college and college is beyond our expectations because there are always different workshops arranged and there are always arranged industrial visit for students practical knowledge.

There are total 219 faculty teachers in VIIT among 40- 50 are for my mechanical stream. All teachers are highly educated many of them are PhD holder and most of them had done their degree from IITs and NITs. Their level of experience is very high and they all are having great knowledge about their respective subjects.

There are 90 to 95 % placements for Computer science and IT. E&TC is also having good placements up to 80 to 85%. There are fewer placements for mechanical and civil but students get placed up to 50 %. Kirloskar and ARAI like companies provide internships to students from 3rd year and offers job at last year. Maximum package is Rs. 25 lakh for our stream. Our batch is yet to places because I am in second year now.

Hostel provide by college. Hostel fees is according to no. of members in room. My college hostel also provide mess facility, food provided by mess is very good which includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. There are always two security guards at hostel gate and there are CCTV cameras in periphery of hostel.

There are total four colleges in our college campus. There are separate buildings in my college for each stream. There are all libraries and laboratories related to our branch. Our college has 3 cafeterias with one big canteen. Each student has medical insurance in our college and all primary medical facilities are available in college. There is only one playground but college higher playgrounds according to matches of students.

Campus life is good at VIIT. There is no Wi-Fi available by college for students, but college provides different cells for overall development of students. My college is having great celebrations for republic and independence day. College organise great cultural program for students with the help of students having name as "Gandharva".
