As VIT is a well reputed institution in India and also has as good national and international ranking. As it has four campus but one should go with Vellore or Chennai campus. If you don't have other options left which is better than VIT then you should consider its Bhopal or AP campus. Academic wise its good and bit good placement wise. If you are hardworking then you will surely crack a offer despite so much of crowd in the campus.

Majority of the students are into CSE branch and there are various specialisation in CSE too. At the time of admission you must have 60% of marks in PCM and good rank in VITEEE exam if you are looking for CSE branch. Course are well structured and formulated. One good thing about VIT is that it offers flexible credit system which means you can choose number of subjects you want to study per semester and the class timings. If you have for engineering then choose this course or else the weightage of supplementary examination is more than life problems.

99% of the faculty are Ph.D holders and are good in their respective fields. Some are excellent in teaching methods and some are just average. They are truly very helpful and have the patience to listen to all your doubts and will also guide you as you need like writing a research paper or something like that. You can approach them after the class hours also if you have doubts regarding the subjects. Student -to-faculty ratio is also good like 50:1.

Yes, we Placement Cell. Placement of VIT for it’s all the four campuses is centralised. At the time of placements, it true that more preference is given to Vellore and Chennai campus as compared to Bhopal and AP campus. Still Bhopal has 60-70% of placement record not 90% which they show. You need to be hardworking to get an offer as crowd is too much in the campus. Highest package went to 59 LPA by Krypto and average is around 6 LPA. Yes, somehow they manage to get the students placed so yes it be a ok option for placement perspective.

Hostels are good and mess food is also ok. It has all the facilities from Wi-Fi to room cleaning service. The fees of hostel ranges from 1.2 lakh per year to 1.8 lakh per year for both boys and girls depending upon the type of sharing bed you are opting for like double sharing or triple sharing. It is a bit expensive as compared to other colleges. There are some indoor sports area inside hostel too.

As VIT Bhopal is new campus so the infrastructure is still in developing phase. You cannot expect much as of now but it will be good in upcoming years. We have 1 academic block and 2 are under construction and 2 lab complex. 6 boy’s hostel block and 3 girls hostel blocks along playgrounds and canteens.

Overall campus life is good, it matters with whom you are and how is your friend circle. You will have enough of opportunities to develop your skills and work upon oneself. There is high crowd in the campus as majority are into CSE. There are both tech and non tech clubs but majority are inactive and active one just conduct seminars. Culture Club is not much good here. We have an annual techno-cultural feast Advitya held in the month of March every year. Some small club activities are held throughout the year.
