Honestly, Chandigarh University was never on my list to visit or study but this university surprised me by its overall specialised courses they offer. One of my friends suggested me of Chandigarh University when I was tired of searching for universities i.e. in my budget and also in my particular choice of course. I would suggest one should take admission in Chandigarh University for any course is it Graduation or Post Graduation, as this university has many things to surprise you be it in academics or your co-curricular activities.

Chandigarh University offers a wide range of courses but the highlight is they've specialisation courses in every course like you've MBA General and MBA-AIT i.e. specialisation courses department (MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain, Digital Marketing, Strategic HR, Business Analytics, and many more). I opted for MBA- Digital Marketing Course. It was difficult to find a degree in Digital Marketing but Chandigarh University made it easy. For enrolling in this university, there is a scholarship test i.e. CUCET in this you will have different subjects like English, Quantitative Aptitude, and also Logical Reasoning. You've an opportunity to earn as much as scholarship percentile you can in this test i.e. from 15% to 100% scholarship. Different courses come with different eligibility criteria. In my course, the eligibility criteria was 45% & above in graduation.

Faculties in Chandigarh University are very helpful and kind. They are always around to help you in every possible way. You wouldn't get everything positive and i.e. why you might find some faculties very annoying but some are very helpful and friendly. I personally had very good connection with my subject faculties. All you have to do to make your connection is make your faculty happy by giving on time submissions and building good connection also depends on how you interact with them. My department HOD and Director are the best faculties I could've asked for. They're always to resolve our problems and help in every aspect possible.

Yes, we do have Placement Cell in our University. Chandigarh University tries their best to get you placed. Chandigarh University helps you to get through the GDs and Interviews in all possible way. They've DCPD Department which helps you in your communication skill classes and for tech background quantitative aptitude classes. These classes run along with your course classes. Chandigarh University doesn't just claim for 100% Placement but they do fulfil it for you.

Yes, we do have hostel facility in our university. I've spent my 6 initial months in Hostel. Chandigarh University has 3 to 4 hostels for girls and boys respectively. They try to give you hostel nearby to your academic block. I was in LC Block D. I was in 4 seater room with prominent fees for a year. I enjoyed my hostel life as this was my first time to live with 3 other girls in one room. In hostel, it's always "we" and not yours or mine. We had shared our homesick phase, being silence phase, and many more phases came but we all stood by each other. Hostel roommates make it easy for you to survive away from home. The hostel buildings were well structured and we had our big mess. Chandigarh University also has tuck shop and cafes in hostels for night cravings. Hostel get in time was 8:30 PM for every hostel.

Chandigarh University's infrastructure is one of the reasons students want to join in. Chandigarh University has divided the blocks according to the academic criteria i.e. B.Tech- CSE, B.Tech General, MBA- General, MBA- AIT, Hotel Management, Fashion Designing, Journalism or any other academic course. Every block has different academic course. There are two campuses which are referred as North Campus and South Campus. Infrastructure in south campus is mostly dedicated towards the modernisation as South Campus is newly built and more interesting. North campus has mostly white buildings and students might find it boring but the larger infrastructure of the university is in north campus and many cafes have been developed over there and also many events are organised in the common ground of north campus.

Chandigarh University campus life is very happening. I personally enjoyed my campus life to the fullest as this University has all kinds of events- Concerts, Movie Promotions and Sports. They have a fountain park where students come in evening, enjoy with their friends and interact with others; we also had jamming sessions over there in evening. Chandigarh University helps in every aspect be it academic, personal or night life (Concerts, EDM Nights, etc.). You can never get bored of this university campus. CU Fest the biggest fest of this university. It is a two days event from morning 9 AM to night 11 PM. Where in day time you've your game stalls, food stalls and different activities like singing, dancing, theatre, sports, and many more activities & in Night you've the EDM nights and Tashan Nights where different singers, dancers, and actors come and perform in the fest. This is just the beginning of CU Campus Life there's a lot more. Go and explore your academic and personal life in Chandigarh University.
