The CU Mohali hostel management has prescribed a number of rules for the students to follow in order to maintain peaceful environment and to live at the hostels without any issues; below-stated are the details of the same:

The Chandigarh University Mohali has hostel facilities for Indian male & female and International girls’ students. In total, 16,000+ Chandigarh University hostel rooms are available to offer residential space to the students living their home for further studies at the Institution.
Moreover, the boys’ hostel has rooms on 1, 2, 4, and 5 seater basis and the girls’ hostel includes a quadruple occupancy room. For ensuring the safety of the students at the hostels, the University has taken several measures such as CCTV surveillance, biometric entry system, 24/2 security personnel, etc.
At the hostels, medical facilities are available such as 24/7 first aid facility, on-campus medical center, tie up with nearby hospitals, and emergency medical assistance. Moreover, for physical fitness of the hostellers, the hostel has several courts for games like Volleyball, Badminton & Basketball and a fully equipped gym is available.
Also, in their leisure time, hostellers can avail the TV & cable facilities available in the common room, indoor games amenities, music room, and so on.

The Chandigarh University hostel has a mess & dining area; the mess is connected with ‘SODEXO’ which offers catering services to the students. The Chandigarh University hostel food menu is designed by the Mess Committee & displayed on the notice boards and it includes delicious & healthy 4 meals a day with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Moreover, the food menu of mess can only be changed by the DSW office permission.
