Punjab Engineering College (PEC) formerly known as PEC University of Technology was established in 1921 and it is located at Chandigarh. It received Deemed-to-be-University status in 2003 and it is approved by UGC & AICTE and accredited by NAAC.

Admission Process
The mode through which students can apply for admission at the University is online. Along with this, the PEC Chandigarh admissions will be offered to the students based on their academic qualifications and scores in specified National / State level entrance exam followed by JoSSA / CSAB / CCMT counselling.

Multiple PEC Chandigarh scholarships like merit and others are offered to reduce financial barriers of the students which they can avail post satisfying the prescribed requirements. At the University, merit scholarships are offered to a limited number of students during the 1st year of their course of study on the basis of JEE Main rank secured by them.
