

Students seeking admission at Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh can avail the on-campus residential facilities as around 6 hostel blocks (Shivalik, Aravali, Vindhya, etc.) are available to separately accommodate boys & girls. The University has recently added a new block within the Shivalik hostel that has nearly 80 rooms.
Hostels at PEC Chandigarh are available for only those students who are applying under ‘Other State Quota’ and the rooms are allotted on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis. The PEC Chandigarh hostel fees is Rs. 81,500/- per annum (including room rent , mess, and other charges).

The Deemed University has built around 4 boys hostels namely, ‘Shivalik’, ‘Himalaya’, ‘Kurukshetra’, and ‘Aravali’. Moreover, nearly 2 hostels are there for girls which includes ‘Kalpana Chawla’ and ‘Vindhya’. These hostels are located within the PEC Chandigarh Campus and students get a comfortable living environment as the rooms contain adequate amenities.
Nutritious meals are served to the residents within the mess which is located inside the PEC Chandigarh hostels. Also, Wi-Fi services and mini-libraries are provided to the residents to provide uninterrupted study spaces so that they can focus on their academic performance.
