Among the topmost burgeoning universities of India, Mody University is one of the best universities. The university is recognized by UGC. It is also known as the “best women university” that gives opportunity to girls to study in a safe and secure environment and it enhances their students to develop excellence in them. It is a renowned private campus. I feel that it is north India’s best private campus for women. It is a highly reputed and highly ranked university.

Mody University provides a student with enormous courses in different streams. It is a school of animation and design, computer application and IT, mass media and journalism, engineering and architecture, law, etc. I am pursuing a course of Bachelor of Arts in mass media and journalism. The duration of my course is three years. The reason for pursuing this course from this university is, it provides professional and creative expertise in mass media and journalism. We perform different activities like debates and discussions. This practice benefits in enriching the skills, confidence, and knowledge of the student. The admission criteria are way easier. The student required more than 50% marks in the 12th standard. The online admission forms are also available on the official site of the campus. There is no entrance test.

The faculty of the university is highly qualified and well experienced. The professors of the University hold high degrees in their respective fields. The faculty holds a teaching experience of 5 to 6 years. The criteria for the teaching properly schedule. Lectures are done on regular basis. Teachers assist the student in their queries and learning. Even during the corona pandemic, the teachers did not let the pandemic to give an impact on studies. The online classes were regular. They provided students with worksheets and study material. The teachers are compassionate and supportive in all matters and discuss everything clearly with their students.

The placements are conducted every year in the university. The placement is up to the mark because of the good connectivity with the big companies like Reliance, Infosys, and Capgemini that approach placements to the students of B.Tech and MBA mainly. The placement facility should be improved more on the campus for the better future of the students.

The hostel of the campus is neat and well maintained. The rooms are commodious, well ventilated, and well furnished. The rooms are equipped with AC and a proper electricity facility. There is unlimited Wi-Fi access for the students. The central dining hall of the campus has a seating capacity of 1800 diners. A balanced diet is given to the student and only vegetarian food is prepared in the kitchen. The atmosphere of the hostel is very safe and secure for the girls. The warden is very supportive and looks out on the hostel girls. The girls have to take approval from the warden to go anywhere outside or inside the hostel. The guards are posted all the time on the hostel as well as campus gates. This makes the students feel the home-like environment in the hostel.

The university is spread in a massive area. The university surrounding is made up of creativity and innovation. The infrastructure facility is mesmerizing. Classrooms are immense with the facility of smart classes and projectors. The entire area of the campus is known as “tapovan”, with a temple in the centre. There is a Yagya Shala and meditation hall for the students. There is one central library on the campus. The computer lab is fortified with modern technology computers and smart LED. The college has most of the sports facilities in it with the international rules and norms. Students get copious prospects to outshine in sports such as football, hockey, basketball, athletics, horse riding, etc. There are excellent facilities of hostels, mess, and cafeterias.

The campus building is very attractive and huge. The plentiful greenery of the campus boosts the students and keeps the environment healthy. The main focus of the members is to keep the environment clean and safe for the students. There are many yoga sessions and plantation programs conducted regularly. Science fairs, art fairs, and workshops are also conducted to elaborate on the knowledge and skills of the students. In case of an emergency, the campus is having a clinic and medical facility. A shuttle facility is provided for transportation. There are two auditoriums on the campus for fests and cultural programs. Overall I feel that if there is a reduction in the fee structure then this is the best university for the girls all over Rajasthan.
