A Brief Summary of LPU

Overall Rating
Honestly speaking, I didn't compare LPU with any other tier 3 colleges. I heard about LPU from one of my friends. I searched every aspect like placements, academics, faculty, and facilities in side campus. You should choose LPU only when you are good in your academics because college will give exposure to everything. Here, the college life is perfect. Obviously LPU is good in terms of placements but you have to make your skills the best.
 

Academics Rating
I did master’s of computer application. As I am from non tech background, I had to clear one bridge course which is under UGC guidelines. After which I gave LPUNEST with two subject; English and computer. I got scholarship in category first, which was 48%. My motive is to Join LPU in MCA program was to dive into the technical side as it is the booming career.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of LPU is very versatile. From the bridge course, I got wonderful teachers. Some of them are pursuing their Ph.D, some have completed their Ph.D. All are excellent teachers. They try to focus on every single student. They can give you extra time if needed and any time you can reach out to them in their cabins.
 

Placement Rating
About the placements, LPU will run after you to make you grab an offer if you have taken the placement services. Try to be proficient in any particular skill and you will surely get placed.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are quite expensive, but you are saving your time and have access to library till 12 midnight. There is a study room in the hostel along with many more benefits like laundry, mess, and room cleaning services almost every day.
 

Infrastructure Rating
They have world class infrastructure, truly serene environment, well cleaned washrooms inside academic blocks, projector classes, and all other required amenities. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) classes are interesting for the students like me who are interested in practical subjects. Also, all classes are under CCTV surveillance. There is also well furnished furniture.
 

Campus Rating
LPU has huge crowd, incredible campus life, EDM nights, fests, and a lot of clubs in DSW that freshers can join to explore. Also NCC and NSS like organisations are present in LPU. There are multiple events happening every day. For every missed class, you will get duty leave. There is no loss of academics if you join these clubs.

    This University has a totally different environment. It gives a great experience in studying along with a correct guidance for personality development. I have particularly chosen this one due to its resources. It also has great lab resources for researchers. Every faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful.     LPU Jalandhar is honestly a mixed bag. The campus is beautiful and feels so much alive which makes daily life enjoyable. The overall curriculum is too good they also promote coding from the first semester. If you are focused and know how to use the resources well. You will have a decent experience here....   • Lovely Professional 'mediocre' university

    To be honest this college was not my first choice I attempted IPMAT exam for admission in IIM Indore but couldn't crack it. So I went through lot of websites on internet and came across LPU. They were providing this course under 15 lakhs whereas other colleges like Nirma had fees up to 30 lakhs.
