GEC college is the best college of the year. The college itself has 75 acres, which is a very big campus to enjoy. The college has various engineering courses like mechanical, production, computer, etc. Behavior of the teachers makes students more attracted to them for doubts and talks. College is near to railway station, bus stand, and travelling is easy. There are more places inside the campus for making conversations.

There are engineering branches like mechanical, production, civil, computer science, electrical and electronics, electronics, and chemical inside the campus. A student must have a high rank to join here because it's one of the top engineering colleges in Kerala. The student must have studied science in higher secondary school. The people looking for college placements can join here. The probability of getting placements is more in this college.

Teachers are excellent at teaching and are very experienced at subjects. They help the individuals to study and refer the textbooks which are related to the university. Most teachers teach us likely at higher secondary level. Some teachers teach using PPTs and others use printed notes.

Yes, Placement Cell is provided in our institution. It helps all students by solving their doubts related to placements. They give an introduction class in first year and teach how to attend an interview and how to develop our skills by the third year of studying. Moreover, this cell helps students to get placements at a higher rate.

Yes, there are 5 blocks in our hostel, which are very clean. Also hostel faculties made a beautiful garden at the front side of the hostel. Hostel is cleaned once in a week and maintains a good environment. 2 blocks are interconnected which makes it easy to walk inside hostel. There are college faculties at every hostel for maintaining students. Food provided at mess is the best for students. The toilets are cleaned once in a week.

The academic block is where all classes take place. The block maintains a good environment for studying. The buildings inside the college have 2 or 3 floors and have many rooms for comfort. The structure helps in the passage of sunlight from outside. The departments are well maintained and have more floors and rooms for classes. Also, there are separate buildings for lab and workshops. A separate building is there for information, main office, money procedures, etc.

Overall, the campus is big and can be explored and enjoyed in 4 years. There are many clubs like NSS (National Service Scheme), Oasis Palliative Care, SAE (Society of Automobile Engineers), IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre), GDSC (Google developer student club), etc. which help students in improving their skills. Fests are always happening in our college. There is a program for every small religion, culture, and other things. Main fest takes place once every year, which is a very big program at our college. There is a program named Thrissur Motor Show, which is held once in 2 years and is one of the very famous motor shows in South India. All students can develop their skills through various activities in our college.
