Overall, it's a good experience. The course curriculum is highly relevant to current standards and comprehensive in covering key skills and concepts. Equal priority is given to both theoretical and practical knowledge. The way they manage students and conduct exams is impressive. The college has very good placements and the fee is not that expensive. You can avail admission to this college by securing good marks in KEAM entrance examination conducted by Kerala government. The faculty-student ratio is also good and the college is situated almost in the heart of Kochi.

The registration process is conducted in March-April months, you can also avail admission under NRI category. KEAM has a lot of reservation benefits, if you belong to any of the given categories, you can avail admission easily. Because the curriculum is highly relevant to current standards, practical knowledge and theoretical knowledge are given equal priority. I chose this college mainly because of the placements they are offering.

In first year, each class has strength of around 63 to 66 students. The faculty-student ratio is fair and there is no adjustment, so the teaching sessions are very interactive and engaging. The teachers are very supportive and the classes are taught from an exam point of view.

After 6th semester, the placement process will start. The college provides very good placements and the companies visiting the college are of very high standards and offer very good packages. Last year, there were around 470 + placement offers. The percentage of students getting placed is very high in electronics and CS departments. I do have good plans regarding the placement process.

The hostel facilities are not that great in this college. Campus’s men's hostel intake is only 101 to 150. You can easily avail PG and hostels outside the campus, which will be a better choice. The chance of getting allotted the campus hostel is very low. Outside the campus, the fee of PG and hostels range from 5k to 8k.

The college has a very good library facility and it offers a wide range of books. All the classrooms are equipped with facilities like projectors and laptops. The campus is very clean. The campus consists of 2-3 buildings only; there is a football ground and basketball ground available. The lab facilities are excellent.

The technical and cultural events will be conducted in every even semester. Basically, there will be a one month gap between the tech and cultural fest. Both will be of very good quality and are conducted in a very good manner. The fests are conducted by students. The tech fest is named Excel. The college has good cricket, football, and basketball teams and they do make them participate in inter campus tournaments. There are a lot of student groups and clubs available in the college. You can choose where you want to be. Clubs like NSS, music club, arts club, etc. are available within the college. All the clubs and committees are run by students.
