MIT World Peace University B.Com Review By Muskan

The general review of my college is that the campus is well maintained. In MIT placements are good and most of the teachers are supportive. My main reason to choose this college was because this college had multiple options in B.Com course as well. My subject is B.Com Honours ACCA. ACCA is international CA which is from UK. Other students should also come here because there are many activities and events for the students and many events help us improve in some or the other way. There are events which are especially conducted for a particular course and many people from that particular field are called to guide us.

For admission, students have to give entrance exam and for B.Com we have to give UGPET. We have to study subjects like English (25 marks), Basic computers (10 marks), General knowledge (25 marks), Basic Mathematics (20 marks), Logic reasoning (20 marks) and lastly, we have a personal interaction session which is for 50 marks. Exam is all about basic things in all the subjects. In personal interactive session, the student should be confident enough to answer any type of questions asked.

In B.Com the teachers are mostly CA or they have done Ph.D in some subjects. Most of the faculty teaches in a very unique and interesting manner which keeps the interest in the class. Teachers are supportive for solving our doubts also. Even after college, some teachers are available for the students. Before exams also teachers conduct revision session if needed.

Yes, there are placements in my institute. The students get the companies according to their skills and knowledge. Once students get the placement, there are chances to get a nice and settled job in the same company if the student shows excellent result in the internship. Teachers help a lot so that the students can make a proper CV and talk confidently in front of the companies.

No, there is no hostel for teachers. But there are full-time teachers available who are there for the students from morning 8 AM to night 7:30 PM. There are part-time teachers also who teach different courses in different colleges.

Teachers provide the students with enough study material. We get all the types of PDFs and links to make our study easier. There are no textbooks provided but we can freely take a book from the library whenever needed. Teachers give us the suggestion of which books can be helpful for us and that makes our studies easier. There are different buildings for different courses. Like for engineering there is 'Dhruv building', for BBA there is 'Ganga building', for B.Com there is 'Saraswati building', and so on, every building has a different name, which makes it easier to understand for the visitors.

The overall view of my campus is good. Campus life is a bit hectic when the semester is going to end because teachers start taking extra lectures and there are assignments given from every subject. But teachers do help us in some ways so that too much pressure doesn't build up. The crowd is also good; sometimes communication becomes an issue because there is too much Maharashtrian crowd. But everyone is friendly. Fee for B.Com honours ACCA is Rs. 1,35,000- 1st installment is Rs. 70,000 and 2nd installment is Rs. 65,000. There are many events and activities for the students and teachers which are organised in MIT. Those events and activities teach us a lot, like how to work in a team and how to manage every single team like the security team, the event management team, etc. But it’s fun working with different people and learning new things.
