Genuine Review from a Current University Student

Overall Rating
I'm currently in my sophomore year and so far, I haven't had any particularly negative experiences at this university. I chose this university because the fee structure is relatively low compared to other universities in the area, and it has a good student loan policy, which made it easier for me to enroll. I would recommend this university to students who have scored lower in their respective competitive examinations and don't want to take a gap year.
 

Academics Rating
I pursued engineering with a specialisation in Data Science at this university, since I always wanted to be an engineer. The eligibility for entrance in this particular university was more or less 65% in 12th. They provide good subjects as well as specialised electives related to the course you have chosen to broaden the student's horizon in that particular field of course.
 

Faculty Rating
Getting a good set of faculty is finding a pearl in the ocean. I am acquainted with a knowledgeable set of faculty members who all are well-versed in their particular subjects which is why I consider myself lucky in this aspect. Although some of my friends haven't got that lucky yet. The style of teaching depends on the faculty members and the subject; some of them are interactive and make the study lessons enjoyable.
 

Placement Rating
We have a Placement Cell and Google Student Developer Group which enhances students' skills to prepare for interviews and competitions shortly. There are various sessions held in the university by famous entrepreneurs or engineers who have been successful in their particular fields, giving students real-life insights about the career path and guiding them to choose better options and prove successful in them.
 

Hostel Rating
Galgotias University has a boys’ hostel only and a girls’ hostel in Galgotias College. Boys’ hostel has both AC, non AC, triple-double occupancy rooms with common washroom, cold water, Wi-Fi, and infrastructure and security are great. There is a ground in the middle of the hostel to play badminton, basketball, etc. There is a gym and a TV room. Girls’ hostel is the same with only 3 occupancy and attached washroom and geyser.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are three blocks in particular in the university; A, B, C divided for respective course batches, with each floor having common washrooms and cold water cooler, entirely air-conditioned with a common Wi-Fi to be accessible to all the students. There is a cafeteria which has only pure vegetarian food in the middle of the university. Playgrounds and libraries are also there in the university.
 

Campus Rating
I have enrolled in several clubs at the university, which helped me interact with various groups of people in different fields. Various events and activities are arranged and managed for the engagement of students and to make college life much more bearable and fun. Hackathons and competitions are arranged in the university to prepare students for future endeavors. All types of hobbies are encouraged in the university and given specified exposure.

    I am studying in galgotias University from 2024 it is located in greater noida Uttar Pradesh since 2011 in this University variety of courses is available like engineering , management , law and different type of medical courses like Bachelor of pharmacy , bachelor of physiotherapy and nursing .     There are many reasons for which I joined this university. The university is located in a quite great place when it comes to getting technical and work exposure. Delhi is really close and many travelling places are close by. Also, fests used to happen but now they are all declining both in quantity and quality.
