Advance Academics in UPES Dehradun

Overall Rating
UPES Dehradun is a top University. The University has taught me to be calm and patient as in every class we have something new to learn. Also, the University understands that students need time to unwind, and therefore events and fests are organised regularly by our University.
 

Academics Rating
From computer networks to analysis and designs of algorithms that will be required during the job has all been taught in our 3rd year. In short, the Engineering skills needed after stepping out is all been taught a year in advance. Exams happen in December and June every year and then we are given 6 to 7 weeks break in every semester.
Luckily girls in Uttarakhand get 20% scholarship automatically. The fees is to Rs. 4,00,000/- for a year but after scholarship our fee becomes Rs. 3,50,000 a year.
 

Faculty Rating
The course is always finished on time by our faculties. They are a little strict and they also give some practical material for practice at home. Faculties promote self study. So for their honesty they are 10 on 10 for me.
 

Placement Rating
The reason Engineering of UPES Dehradun is best because they offer highest package and even average package is more than MBA students here. Highest package of CSE was 50 LPA and average package was probably 8 LPA.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Tej Engineering department of the University is in its Bidholi campus. Campus is little far from the main city and therefore University has placed almost 50 buses for students to make travelling easier. There are over 20 labs and one of those is developed by Bosch. There are two sports grounds as well and two cafeterias and one mess which are used by hostel students. The campus is marvel but the view from our campus is even more majestic.

Well, I had a campus life with so many positives to look forward at.

    My overall experience at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is really good till now. the serene vibes and the cool and calm atmosphere of the area is just wonderful. The students are really ambitious and are really hard working. The people here are really good.     Overall the college is better than most private Universities in Uttrakhand. The faculty is good at teaching. UPES provides internship opportunities which are also to be taken in consideration when applying here. I chose UPES because of their placements and the location of college.     In UPES, the teachers are very helpful and the campus ambience is very serene calm and beautiful. It is free from the city rush. It UPES regularly conducts fests and workshops for the students. I found the zero tolerance policy towards the ragging very helpful. You can play sports of your choice. Even if you are a newbie the other students will treat you nicely.... Read Full Review

    Overall, the university is pretty good. The campus life is actually really wonderful and enjoyable. The facilities provided in the campus can be mediocre for some people, but in my opinion they are mostly decent. The academics are also good and library is really well equipped with almost all the books we will need in this journey.
