My experience at BIT

Overall Rating
This institute is one of the best institutes in Jharkhand. Which runs under state government, this college will give you good exposures. And return on investment for this college is pretty good. The campus is of 450 acres with lots of facilities like bank, library, canteen etc. Student who is financially weaker must opt for this college, provided they must have a resident of Jharkhand.
 

Academics Rating
The courses provided here are B. Tech and M.Tech. For B.Tech, student to get enroll in this college have to give JEE MAINS examination. Based on their ranks merit list will be created. And must have 60% marks in their previous exam. Must be a resident of Jharkhand and to get reservation benefit must have their respective documents.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this institute are qualified like they have completed their B.Tech, M.Tech from IIT and NIT and some of them are alumini of BIT itself. They have teaching experience of 8 -10 years. Their teaching style is pretty good. You will be taught through smart board as well as through normal boards.
 

Placement Rating
Placement of this college is very nice. About 90% of student gets placed and this placement is on campus placement with average CTC of 7 LPA per annum. Highest placement of this institute is 50 LPA given by Amazon this was off campus placement.
 

Hostel Rating
This institute provides you hostel in the campus itself. With hostel maintenance fee plus electricity bill per annum of around 10,000. In your first year you will be given 1 room where you have share with 5 students including you with sufficient space. Mess will be also provided in your hostel itself.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This institute was established in 1949. Infrastructure of this institute is not so good because some of the buildings are 70 years old. Which makes the campus looks old. Fans and other equipment inside the building are also very old and not maintained properly so you have to manage with this but you will get nice experience.
 

Campus Rating
Campus of this college is spread over 450 acres. With full of nature and lot of facilities like you will get banking facility, library, canteen, 2-3 sports ground, gym, nearby railway facility, and more. You will get a clean and peaceful environment inside the campus.

    BIT Sindri is renowned government institute for engineering. It is very cost efficient and reliable. Faculty members are very experienced and the labs are very good.     The very first impression of the Institute “This institute is beyond expectations and a life saver for students who can't go to NIT's". It has a wide spread campus of around 450 acres with a green environment and students accommodate in hostels which increases their social interactions.     BIT Sindri Dhanbad is located in Sindri (urban area) but here experience of this Institute in my eye is good in terms of everything like campus, environment, faculty, seniors and juniors interaction, and hostel Life, etc. For being a student this has been a great journey and experience.
