At first, this institute is one of the oldest institutes running in the states of Jharkhand and Bihar. Earlier, it was used to be under Bihar state and its name was Bihar Institute of Technology. It was founded in 1949. As we also know that older engineering institute has always much more importance than other institute. My experience at BIT Sindri is very good. We get the exposure of many technical and socio-cultural events conducted by the clubs and societies from time to time. Its placement data, strong reputation, and vast alumni network made me to choose this college for Engineering. One thing that everyone boasts here is low fees. In most of the aspects this college outperforms many private colleges be it Opportunities, Exposure and Personality Development. I personally choose this college over many private colleges because of being it a state government college resulting very less fees and the placements in the core sectors.
