Overall Rating
The infrastructure of the collage is very nice. The college has a well equipped Laboratories and Library. It also has seminar hall which is used for workshop, guest lectures and other events.
 

Academics Rating
It follows a different curriculum and exam schedule. It is totally different from Anna University, called module-based studies where the students read modules one by one, which contains four subjects and goes on for three months. But this is good and makes it easier to get more marks. A strict attendance policy can lead to consequences, such as being unable to write exams with more than two days' absence.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are very good and most of them are PhD scholars. There is an option where we can choose our own faculty. Faculty helps to their extent and clears our doubts anytime. Only few faculties won't teach but most of them will teach excellently. They provide us with many materials which will be useful for semester as well for our own understanding. The college provides us with concept map for very subject.
 

Placement Rating
Our college provides good placement offers from different companies and also trains us for placement interviews.
 

Hostel Rating
To be honest hostels are good but maintenance is not regular. The rooms are okay. There are many hostels inside our college, some are good and some are okay.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure varies throughout the campus, with some new-age buildings that boast fine architecture. Each block within the college has its own unique characteristics. As for food, you have freedom to eat as much as you want using your own money. Classrooms are good and they provide us well equipped laboratories, but Wi-Fi is not that good inside the collage.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very different; we can explore many things about college. Events are conducted by different departments. We can enjoy our campus life by participating in many events which are conducted throughout the year. The infrastructure is really good and it has two big libraries. Overall, it is a good College with great environment.

    SIMATS Engineering College has good infrastructure and greenery. There is no discrimination towards students from different states. The faculty is friendly. We can choose our own teacher for the subject, this is the kind of freedom we have. We can select the subject we want to study, this make this College different from others.... Read Full Review

    Currently I am pursuing Computer Science & Engineering at Saveetha School of Engineering. My one-year experience was good to excellent. Unlike other colleges, This College has its unique curriculum, which can’t be finding in any other Engineering colleges. The university follows "flex learn" in which a student can select min of one and max of two course and it is treated as one semester here. if a student registered for one course then he/she will be writing there university exam in two weeks ...     Saveetha University is also known as SIMATS. It is a deemed to be university. SSE Chennai is a constituent part of this university. It is well known for its placement records and extraordinary academic curriculum. The college is extraordinary and pleasant campus life.     SIMATS is out of all other engineering Institutes and they are well known for hands on learning methodology. SSE focuses heavily on project based learning, which helps students gain practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge. Faculty members are approachable and helpful. The Institute encourages participation in extracurricular activities such as technical clubs, hachathons and cultural events. The college placement cell is quite active and supportive.
