My Personal Opinion on SIMATS Engineering Chennai

Overall Rating
I chose SIMATS Engineering Chennai because of three factors such as course selection according to students, the students are less, and more lab facilities. . The University provides direct faculty discussion. You can build your network here. The University has good infrastructure and the campus is filled with greenery.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering. The University is good in academics and very flexible. We can select subjects as per our choice. Overall, the academics of this University is average and prepare us for real life challenges.
The fee of my course is Rs. 1,50,000/- per year. The additional fee of Rs. 9000/- should be paid.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at SIMATS Engineering Chennai are friendly towards the students. The interaction between the teachers and the students are good. The teachers have done Ph.D in their respective field. The teaching methods include whiteboards, etc. They keep the classes very interactive. The teacher to student ratio is 1:40. I have a good bond with the teachers.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the University has placement cell. It provides various placement opportunities. Various renowned companies visit our campus such as HCLTech, Amazon, Razorpay, Deloitte, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University provides separate hostel facilities to the students. There are multiple sharing rooms available. The hostel fee ranges from Rs. 10,000/- to 32,000/- per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of SIMATS Engineering Chennai is good. There are several blocks for different departments. Each classroom can accommodate 40 students and are well equipped with AC facilities. The campus has hospital, sports ground, transportation facilities, canteens, etc. My favorite place in this University is munch market.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life till now is good. We can interact with crowd and can learn many good things. There are different types of clubs which you can join as per your interest such as Music club, Dance club, etc. The University also conduct DJ party, yoga classes, annual fest, etc. and invite guest from different parts of the world. It also celebrates Pongal festival.

    Currently I am pursuing Computer Science & Engineering at Saveetha School of Engineering. My one-year experience was good to excellent. Unlike other colleges, This College has its unique curriculum, which can’t be finding in any other Engineering colleges. The university follows "flex learn" in which a student can select min of one and max of two course and it is treated as one semester here. if a student registered for one course then he/she will be writing there university exam in two weeks ...     Saveetha University is also known as SIMATS. It is a deemed to be university. SSE Chennai is a constituent part of this university. It is well known for its placement records and extraordinary academic curriculum. The college is extraordinary and pleasant campus life.     SIMATS is out of all other engineering Institutes and they are well known for hands on learning methodology. SSE focuses heavily on project based learning, which helps students gain practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge. Faculty members are approachable and helpful.
