SSE Chennai Provides Best Education & Sports Facilities

Overall Rating
Saveetha University is also known as SIMATS. It is a deemed to be university. SSE Chennai is a constituent part of this university. It is well known for its placement records and extraordinary academic curriculum. The college is extraordinary and pleasant campus life. The cultural fests, youth fests, fresher parties, and extracurricular activities are good at my college. The academic curriculum is strictly and regularly updated.
 

Academics Rating
The college is accredited by NAAC (A+). It is ranked 27th by NIRF. My college has letter-grading system. It also maintains strict attendance policy. There is fine for the students who are irregular in the classes. In addition, the academic curriculum includes there is university examination entrance test is conducted to get an admission. The academics include innovation and research and orientation programs, which lead to development of better skills among the students.
The fee structure at my college is approximately 2 Lakh to 4 Lakh per annum. There is no special discount for the students who belong to special categories.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are highly skilled and experienced at industrial experience. Faculty members have completed their PhDs in their respective fields. Everyone is approachable and co-operative with each and every student. There are more than 500 members in the faculty without including non-teaching staff. In addition, the faculties are excellent at problem solving.
 

Placement Rating
When it comes to placement records, the last few years our college has provided best placement opportunities. The top recruiters were Amazon, Accenture, Google, Microsoft, etc. The highest package that has been offered is 75 LPA and the average package is about 5 LPA to 20 LPA. Almost 80% students got placed during placement drives.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are hostels at my college. For me, the total fee including mess charges is approximately Rs. 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. The hostels are outfitted with Wi-Fi. There is variety of food options in the mess for students. As a student, hostel life here is pleasant and good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As a student, our college has classrooms, which are completely modern and digitalized. The central library has wide collection of books, journals, along with digitalized rooms. The laboratories are well equipped with modern equipment. The sports facilities are extraordinary. Our college has well maintained playgrounds. when it comes to hangout places, the canteens and cafeterias are well maintained. For me the place to hangout is student hub that is maintained by other students.
 

Campus Rating
Our college organizes events for celebrating festivals like Onam, Christmas, Sankranti, etc. The technical events and industrial training at workshops provide best skills and knowledge about modern technology. The clubs like NCC, NSS, and IEEE are best platforms for every student to develop their skills and get practical experience. The college is also famous for conducting wide range of sports events, tournaments, etc. Many students or I can say players are selected at the national level.

    SIMATS Engineering College has good infrastructure and greenery. There is no discrimination towards students from different states. The faculty is friendly.     Currently I am pursuing Computer Science & Engineering at Saveetha School of Engineering. My one-year experience was good to excellent. Unlike other colleges, This College has its unique curriculum, which can’t be finding in any other Engineering colleges. The university follows "flex learn" in which a student can select min of one and max of two course and it is treated as one semester here. if a student registered for one course then he/she will be writing there university exam in two weeks ...     SIMATS is out of all other engineering Institutes and they are well known for hands on learning methodology. SSE focuses heavily on project based learning, which helps students gain practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge. Faculty members are approachable and helpful.
