This is a great college to pursue engineering. It is the oldest NIT of India; you will get a feeling of pride when you get admitted in such a great institution. You will get all the basic facilities at a reasonable fee, which private colleges are offering at such a high price. My overall experience in college is very good. You should join this college if you have an interest in pursuing engineering.

For getting enrolled in any NITs of India you have to secure a good percentile in JEE Mains examination, which is held twice in a year in the month of January and April. Also you have to secure a minimum aggregate percentage of 75% in your board examination of 12th standard.

All the faculty present here are highly qualified from different renowned colleges of India such as IIT, NITs and IISC Bangalore. They are highly experienced in their respective course domain. They will teach you in a very simple way.

The placements in NIT Warangal are good as compared to other NITs. During the year 2023, the highest package was of 88 LPA, which was secured by two students of NIT Warangal, one of them was from the Computer Science and Engineering Department while the other student was from the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. The average package for the CSE department is around 30 LPA. Every year many companies like Axis Bank, Caterpillar and Adobe etc. visit the campus for the recruitment of students. NIT Warangal provides internships for its students. You can apply for both the on campus and off campus internships. The brand value of NIT Warangal helps you to get the internships easily if you have the skills to do it.

Hostel facilities are provided in the campus. There are separate hostel for boys and girls. Freshers get to stay in the largest hostel of Asia, Ramapaa and Priydarshni Hall of Residence. While the second, third and fourth year students stay in other hostel blocks. The campus has 4 messes, 1 Domino's pizza shop and a barber shop. There are good facilities for parking two-wheelers and four-wheelers. There is a Hitachi cart for the ease of the student to move across the campus. There is medical aid available for the student at times of need.

The campus is spread over the area of 250 acres. For each department there is a separate building. In the evening you can find most of the crowd at the big cricket stadium in the campus.

Almost for each domain of interest, there is a club available such as a dance club, music club, marshal art club, literary and debate club, quiz club, coding clubs and robotics club etc. Each year two fests are held. One is the cultural fest and the other one is the technical fest. The technical fest called “Technozion” is organised in the month of January. While the cultural fest known as “Spring Spree” is conducted in the month of April. Both the fests hype up the college life.
