Overall Rating
The atmosphere of NIT Raipur is really good. Being here makes me very confident and excited about studies. Students from different cultures and perspectives come to this university. Multiple fests are celebrated together. This college gives the opportunity to learn everything.
 

Academics Rating
NIT Raipur provides a variety of courses, which you can choose according to your interest. I got the opportunity to explore and learn many things. The college has impressive resources, including renowned libraries and numerous research opportunities.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of our college is widely respected for their expertise and dedication in teaching and research. Many professors hold advanced degrees from prestigious institutions and have extensive experience in their fields. The faculties are very friendly and their way of teaching is too good. They explain all concepts very clearly and answer our doubts regardless of how many times we will ask them. The professors of this university are very punctual.
 

Placement Rating
Currently I am in my 2nd year of M.Sc, so I won't be able to give any comments on placements. But according to my seniors, many students secure opportunities during their time in NIT Raipur, which led to full time employment upon post graduation. There are multiple companies that offer good packages here.
 

Hostel Rating
There aren’t much facilities but it is good. There food is hygienic and healthy. Hostels are situated very near to the department buildings, so that we can easily come and go for meals or snacks.
 

Infrastructure Rating
All departments are in one building. The washrooms are very clean. All classes are having air conditioning. Lift and water facilities are provided. If the library doesn’t have a particular book, then we can acquire that book from the HOD’s room.
 

Campus Rating
There are many students in NIT Raipur. Fests like Garba Night and DJ Night are celebrated enthusiastically. Every year a celebrity comes for the DJ Night.

    This is a Tier-2 Institute, situated in Saraswatinagar Raipur. It has a huge campus area, which includes hostels, grounds, and canteens.   • NIT Raipur's Campus Facilities: Labs, Sports Complex, & More

    I'm currently pursuing B.Tech degree from National Institute of Technology, Raipur. Overall, what I can say is that this institute is good. Choosing it is kind of worth it. Well my JEE Main percentile is 93.6 so, I had to choose this institute as I want a decent NIT tag. For me, choosing this one is worth it because it is much better than choosing some lower government and private colleges.     NITs are excellent compared to other institutes. NIT Raipur has good placements. I am studying in Information Technology branch.     I joined this Institute in 2024. My branch is information technology. I joined this Institute because the average package of this branch is around 18.6 LPA CTC. I got Indian Institute of technology Patna mechanical engineering during JOSSA counseling but I applied for CSAB for this Institute.     Therefore, the overall experience in this Institute is very good because in our Institute all the things are very good just like my branch and my teachers. I chose this field because I am from Chhattisgarh and that is an area of mining so there is a scope on this field and i want to encourage my juniors to go this field and serve our country.
