NMIMS is the top-ranked BBA institute in the country. The only problem is the number of students that it takes. Every class had 60 students, and there were sections till J. NPAT is the only way to enter BBA as there are some management quota seats, but they are limited to those who have a political approach. More than money power, it's the muscle power that works here. BBA classes of NMIMS are held in Mithibai College's 7th and 8th floors. The facilities other than classrooms are joint, and one has to work their way out. Amid all this chaos, one thing that stands out is it's the academic part that goes way beyond learning. Since the college is private, the faculty are given a free hand to modify the course structure to accommodate it with in-demand material and subjects. Interaction with faculty is quite high as even though the student teacher ratio is a little low, the faculty were always interested in helping students out. One thing that gave me the utmost pleasure is when people ask me where I graduated from, and I answer, NMIMS, the people show a different kind of respect. Thus, it was worth every penny that my parents spent for my graduation at this lovely college.

I was accompanied by some great colleagues. Students were from all corners of India, and definitely the most significant ones made their way here. Digital classrooms and new-age learning were so fresh as coming from Bikaner all this was something that I heard only from my cousins who studied at such colleges. The competition is fierce as case studies solving as good as MBA level were provided to us. The exposure and the structure of the program was best in class. As a student of NMIMS, we were sent to represent colleges at many quiz competitions all across the country. At most of the places, NMIMS students have done their best, and that's all because of the beautiful academic system of NMIMS.

Faculty are as good as you rate them. I kept my goal straight: to interact with the professors openly and gain as much as from them. If I had any questions, I would walk to them, and they will walk me to the solutions to that problem. Knowing quite a few of them personally, I can say that we're definitely among the sweetest people I have come across.

Mumbai is the country's commercial center, but still getting 400+ graduates places was not in control of NMIMS. We were trained in such a way that we had to go for higher studies, and almost all the students were from a business background, so most of them had their plans straight. Several students who were serious about jobs were taken note of and were introduced to some of the most reputed companies. For those who were serious for jobs had the jobs, and after chucking out 70% as not interested, the rest 30% who wanted jobs had handsome jobs at their peripheral.

NMIMS doesn't have a hostel for students doing graduation. The hostel building that NMIMS owns doesn't have enough rooms, and therefore it is now only for MBA students. We stayed at an apartment in close proximity to the college. One can find room mates directly from the classes as every other student at NMIMS is an outsider and were searching for flats. If you are an outsider, make friends with some of the most notable students around and share an apartment with them in the Ville Parle area, where the student population is quite high.

Talking about the building, don't get fooled by the glass building of NMIMS. The building is purely for MBA, and the NM building has BMS that is under Mumbai University. NMIMS BBA classes are held in Mithibai College, where the eight-floor building is divided into three colleges. The first two floors are of Usha Pravin Gandhi College, the next 4 for Mithibai, and the last 2 for NMIMS. NMIMS students had access to both the libraries as they can enter the Mithibai library or NM building library. The auditorium, including all the buildings of the trusts, were four. It was confusing to remember all the names as we had to rush in which auditorium is the guest lecture going to hold. Mithibai college's main auditorium was used for NMIMS events, and in the name of sports, the common ground behind the NMIMS MBA building was used by the students. The college canteen was hardly visited as outside the NM college building, you will find not just Mumbaikars but even travelers from all across the country enjoying Vada Pav of Anand Stall. My cousins didn't often come to meet me but to enjoy Anand's Vada Pav.

Mithibai, NM, NMIMS has the coolest students. The college has produced enough Bollywood stars that events are taken seriously, and students literally practiced all year round to showcase their talent at the annual fest Vaayu. Life at NMIMS was undoubtedly the best days of my life.
