All About My Academic Pursuits at NMIMS Mumbai

Overall Rating
My experience at the NMIMS Mumbai was truly remarkable. The faculty at the University is supportive, and the classes were extremely informative. The curriculum is updated and follows a modern approach to teaching and learning. The dual degree program is much better and different from other University as you get to study in 2 Universities at the same time, which makes the learning process more competitive and less stressful. I had an amazing experience.
 

Academics Rating
I chose the course i.e., BBA (International Business) because it offered a Dual degree from University and Kingston University London. The admissions process is very smooth where you need to give NPAT to be considered for admission. Exams and tests are more of presentations and assessments rather than a written pen and paper exam, which make the evaluation process much more efficient. All the modules are more practical and less of only theoretical knowledge.
The fee for the program is Rs. 5,00,000/- for 2 years in Mumbai & £ 15,100/- (British Pounds) for the third year. Scholarships of NMIMS Mumbai are also available.
 

Faculty Rating
The teacher to student ratio is around 1:40, which is quite good. All the faculty members are well qualified and well trained. The teachers teach using smart boards and often include students in conversations during the class to make class more engaging. Every faculty is highly approachable and you are assigned a teacher as your mentor so we can approach them for literally anything. Many faculty members are Ph.D in their field so it is a benefit for the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University covers around 5.95 campus area. There are 3 canteens in the Mithibai building where the University is located. The canteen food is made fresh and is very good. You can also get access to University Glass building canteen, which is the best University canteen in India. The classes have smart boards that teachers use to teach, classes are air conditioned and well maintained. You also get access to the library where students can read and take books for studies.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at the NMIMS Mumbai is very eventful because there are many events and club activities happening throughout the year, so you never get bored in your 3 years of University it has been quite an experience for me personally. There is a fest that happens every year named ‘Zest’ that is getting bigger every year. students get to network and learn a lot by being part of the organising committee of such fests.

    NMIMS is the top-ranked BBA institute in the country. The only problem is the number of students that it takes. Every class had 60 students, and there were sections till J. NPAT is the only way to enter BBA as there are some management quota seats, but they are limited to those who have a political approach. More than money power, it's the muscle power that works here.
