Bhagini Nivedita College Admissions are based on CUET UG exam

This college is located in a peaceful and pollution free environment. The campus is home to 12 academic departments including English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Economics, Commerce, Political Science and more. The Bhagini Nivedita College offers a refund of 20% of the total fees to the student who deserves it. The college has placement programs that offer internships in many companies with the highest salary offer being INR 50,000 per month and the lowest offer being INR 10,000 per month. This college also provides scholarships to students who perform well in their school. In this college the teachers are kind and friendly in nature. The main specialty of this college is that it offers NCC (National Cadet Corps). The main role in NCC is the ANO; she strictly yet efficiently trains the girls.

This is a government aided & women affiliated college with the University of Delhi. Admission is based on the CUET UG examination. This college provides internships for the first year and second year students and placements for the third year students. This college also offers scholarships for students of the SC and ST category based on their academic progress, regular attendance, discipline and good conduct. This college gives practical based experiences in SAC (skill enhancement course) in the B.A. program, like the students visiting the Yamuna Ghat, Qutub Minar and many more places. Those students who joined NCC get so many opportunities to attend camps in different states, attend seminars and meetings with various military Ministers of India and even with the Prime Minister of India.

Honestly, there are very kind teachers here. The college has a good teaching faculty with friendly and understanding teaching methods. The faculty members are very helpful, generous, and cooperative. They are well experienced and qualified from good colleges. The college has a good ratio of students to faculty members in each course. The teachers are supportive and provide guidance to the students to achieve their goals But the college also has some faculty members who are not interested in teaching and are very strict. Overall, the teachers are good in nature.

The highest package offered is 12 LPA. The average package is around 3-4 LPA. Placements are valid from the second year onwards. Around 30-40% of the students get placed. Companies like Boat and Raymond visit the college for placements. BSNL offered some students the role of an auditor. Besides this, there are no placement or internship opportunities provided by the college. But students can apply for internships on their own.

The college has a girl's hostel with the capacity of 58 students. Admission in the hostel is based on the Merit list. The hostel is a three-storey building with all the necessary amenities. There is no hostel facility for the boys. But there are PGs near the college. The cost of a PG for one month is around Rs. 7,000-8,000.

The infrastructure of this college has not been so good for the few past years. But there are some things that are good like the library, sports complex, gym, labs, shuttle service, auditorium, etc. The library is fully computerized and has a large collection of books, magazines, journals and newspapers available. It also has a book bank facility for the underprivileged and needy students. The sports complex includes badminton, skipping and volleyball courts. The gym has a cycle, twister, steppers, medicine ball, skipping ropes, weighting machine, dumbbells, etc. The computer lab has the latest computers and software. The food technology lab has equipment for food processing and analysis. The apparel design and construction lab is equipped with sewing machines and design software. Whereas the nutrition and health education lab has equipment for nutritional analysis. We have a state-of-the-art auditorium with the seating capacity for over 500 people.

This college has good teachers and sports facilities, but lacks in its infrastructure. There are not many offers for a good salary package for the B.A. courses, but students can develop their personality here. Some students have reported that they are satisfied with the college faculty members. The campus life can be boring as there are no places to hang out or visit near the college. This college totally surrounded by fields.
