Bhagini Nivedita College New Delhi is a Public Educational Institution

My 2 years have been a massive reality check in the best way. The curriculum is definitely a hustle. It is place that pushes us to be independent, you are not just a student here, and you are a part of a fast-paced community. I chose this College mainly because it is affiliated to Bhagini Nivedita College, New Delhi. If you want a place that gives you a massive platform, trust me DU is the best choice. In addition, the best part being in DU is the student led culture. From fests to societies, students run the show.

I chose B.Com because it is a versatile foundation course for my goal to have career in Banking. Admission was based on my CUET UG scores, which required a combination of domain subjects, language, and general test. This process involved registering via CSAS portal for the seat allocation. There is a semester system, with major exams like business statistics, cost accounting, business management etc. Sometimes it feels heavy preparing for these exams but people here solve all the problem and hustle you are facing.

In first year, I submitted around Rs. 13,000/-. You have to submit fees year wise. Other charges are included in the yearly fees. In addition, no there is no special discount in fees to be provided to specific category students.

The faculty here is mostly highly qualified. Many are holding Ph.D degrees from top Universities. Teachers at Bhagini Nivedita College, New Delhi usually prefer blackboards and group discussions. They are easily approachable and they also encourage us to ask doubts after each lecture. The teacher-student ratio here is around 1:50. I have a really good experience because teachers here are supportive if you show genuine interest. Bonding happens mostly during tutorials and in society events, which leads to informal conversations also.

The campus has a classic and sturdy feel with separate blocks for different departments. It is located in the South-West part of the Delhi. The classroom is spacious enough for 60 students. They mostly have traditional desks, but some classrooms also now have projectors for presentations. The library is quite big and well stocked. You can find any book related to any subject even novels for reading. My favorite place in the College is garden where I can sit with my friends and discuss about study material. The campus is full with greenery so you can also feel the nature's vibe.

Campus life here is genuinely fun, I mean if you socialize engage in events more. The College crowd overall is good because people come from all over India which keeps you more motivated. Yes, there are many clubs such as Fashion club, Dance club, Photography club etc. I am a part of fashion society. There is an annual fest, where the whole campus come together and transforms with music, food stalls, and so many performances. Overall, it is a good experience.
