Bhagini Nivedita College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure of this college has not been so good for the few past years. But there are some things that are good like the library, sports complex, gym, labs, shuttle service, auditorium, etc. The library is fully computerized and has a large collection of books, magazines, journals and newspapers available. It also has a book bank facility for the underprivileged and needy students. The sports complex includes badminton, skipping and volleyball courts. The gym has a cycle, twister, steppers, medicine ball, skipping ropes, weighting machine, dumbbells, etc. The computer lab has the latest computers and software. The food technology lab has equipment for food processing and analysis. The apparel design and construction lab is equipped with sewing machines and design software. Whereas the nutrition and health education lab has equipment for nutritional analysis. We have a state-of-the-art auditorium with the seating capacity for over 500 people.

This college has good teachers and sports facilities, but lacks in its infrastructure. There are not many offers for a good salary package for the B.A. courses, but students can develop their personality here. Some students have reported that they are satisfied with the college faculty members. The campus life can be boring as there are no places to hang out or visit near the college. Well, it was a complete disappointment initially but by the time when you have no other option you have to adjust anyways. The College area was big and fine, but the facilities were less. The college had very less sporting facilities, but of course, that wasn’t my area of interest. The library was fine but from the viewpoint of the book of subject only. I found all the books related to my subjects but no other extra reading books. It had the capacity of 25-30 students at a time. It also had a canteen that was just serving with 5-6 food options. Initially, the food wasn’t good but later it changed. We were just provided with fans no matter how hot the temperature is.

Overall Campus life was average there. I don’t think that you can develop much there because of a lack of opportunities. Fests and celebrations were okay types only. Well, the three years passed in a blink of an eye, just because of my friends and teachers only.Read Full Review
