To be honest, it lives up to the hype

Overall Rating
I would say at first it was tough for me to adjust with a private college because I was so sure of me to be able to crack JEE, but when I failed to do so because of a few marks, I took admission here. 1 year has passed since then, and I don't think there's any regret left. The college is a hub to development I'd say, with top notch facilities and students from all over India, as well as from foreign countries. The college provides an environment to nurture.
 

Academics Rating
The course I am in is B.Tech. (Hons.) CSE in Cyber Security and Blockchain, and the college fee is about 16 lakh. For entry in this course, you are required to be able to crack JEE Mains, or LPUNEST, or CUET, and you become eligible by scoring at the very least 60% in class 12th boards. I enrolled in this course because the course structure is made in accordance to the industry's requirements, and also is very up to date, which promises a fostering career development.
 

Faculty Rating
One could expect private college's faculty to be rude, but here it is contradictory. The faculty is top notch here, as well as very helpful too. They are eveready to be asked for doubts and help, throughout the class as well as after the classes. They are well to do in their field and have apt knowledge for the same too. Overall, I would say, the faculty is excellent here.
 

Placement Rating
The college does have a pro active placement cell, and yes it does help the students to get placed in dream companies like Microsoft, Google, Meta, etc. The placements here are actually really good. Even in the last year, the highest package crossed a crore. This clearly shows how good the university's contacts are in the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
The college does provide good amount of hostel rooms for both, boys and girls. The hostels have been divided for boys and girls so as to maintain privacy. Each hostel is named as H1, H2, etc. and also has basic as well as advanced facilities like Wi-Fi on each floor, clean toilets, and beds. One concern can be the quality of beds, but I guess in the future, the college authorities are going to take some action regarding the same.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Lovely Professional University is well known for its huge campus, advanced infrastructure and up to date sports amenities. There is nothing you won’t be able to find inside the campus. There is everything that a student might require, and that too at affordable rates. Many popular brands have their outlets in our college. Also, the sports facilities are great too. I remember back in 2019, I visited Jalandhar for a Regional Sports Meet (KVS) and our matches were conducted on these grounds only.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is decent too. With a crowd, so diverse, one will surely be able to make friends throughout his time here as a student. The students come from well to do families which makes it even better to be able to adapt here. I never once felt like I am missing home, because the people here are like a family. One might feel initially that this was a second option for them and they feel like they shouldn't have come here, but once the first semester gets over, trust me guys, once you adapt here, you will never regret coming here.

  • Lovely Professional 'mediocre' university

    To be honest this college was not my first choice I attempted IPMAT exam for admission in IIM Indore but couldn't crack it. So I went through lot of websites on internet and came across LPU. They were providing this course under 15 lakhs whereas other colleges like Nirma had fees up to 30 lakhs. When I came to University I was amazed to see it's beautiful campus, large and surrounded by gardens and trees. People from all over India are there in LPU and there is no ragging.     My overall experience in LPU Jalandhar is average. It has balanced exposure between academics and sports. The factor that made me choose this University is that a lot of companies visit here for hiring.
