Ramaiah Institute of Technology placement rate is 90%

My overall experience has been great in this college. There have been so many activities and events to participate and enjoy in and so many clubs to join. The campus location is great. The campus is small and has good infrastructure. Teachers are great here. They are knowledgeable and very helpful. Our college is known for its decent internships and package among people. It is considered as a tier 1 college in Bangalore.

I am currently pursuing BE in CSE with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. For getting this branch or any other branch in Ramaiah Institute of Technology, you have to appear for KCET or COMEDK. COMEDK for outside Karnataka people while KCET for Karnataka people. In COMEDK, roughly 77k students appeared in which you have to get about 1300 for CSE core and 1800 or less for CSE in AI & ML. I wanted to pursue BE from here. That's why I chose this college over other colleges.

The faculty of our college is great. They have vast knowledge about their subjects and are very cooperative, interactive, helpful and understanding. They can help you within academic or any other problems. The minimum criterion for being a professor is that the person must have at least done their masters or PhD. Some of our faculty did their higher studies from abroad.

The placement cell is working great, which can be seen by our college's placement record that is increasing every year. Every year, big companies such as Adobe, Walmart, Google, Accenture, IBM, etc. visit our campus for placements. The average package is about 8 LPA. The average package for CSE branches is more than 12 LPA. The highest package was offered by Atlassian which was about 62 LPA. The current highest package is about 50 LPA. Over 90% students get placed in our college. The faculty helps us to know about industry by calling people who are actually working in the industries. They tell us the requirements of the different companies and how to be better at giving interviews and preparing our CV / resume.

For hostel, there two hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. For boys, fresher block hostel is for new students while the other hostel is Aryabhatta block for other students. The fee of hostel is only 94k which I think is affordable comparing to the fees of hostel in other private colleges. The food is okay, neither good nor bad. The hostel provide room for 2 occupancy in which you can choose your partner if you have one. All facilities are available in the hostel required for the students such as laundry, cleaning, etc. Infrastructure of fresher hostel is great but the other hostels’ infrastructure is not so great because it was built long back time thus I think it need little improvement in infrastructure but in rest other things it is great.

The infrastructure of you college is great and good in comparison with other private college in India. The labs are great with air conditioners, computers, CPU with good processor, etc. Though the campus was built a long ago but still it doesn't look old because the buildings kept on getting renovated every year. There are 3-4 buildings for engineering students and 3-4 Libraries. Wi-Fi is also available in every corner of our college which I think is great and very much needed.

Campus life is great and to fully utilize it, you must be communicative and participative person. There are many sport, music, dance competitions, and hackathon are organised in our campus. We take part in such things and it helps us to discover things outside curriculum. We don't have uniform and we are free to wear any formal or informal clothes to our college. There are many fests which happen every year but the main one is UDHBAV, which is a cultural fest in which many colleges participate. There are different clubs such as CODERIT, IMT, WMT, IEEE, EDITHA, Stier Racing, etc. and you can choose any of these clubs wherever your interest matches among them.
