Shoolini University B.Sc Review By Savy Thakur

First I would like to tell you about the location of the university. Shoolini University is situated in the middle of the mountains. The weather here remains cool and pleasant for twelve months of the year. Years spent in university were the best 3 years of my life. I completed my graduation in microbiology from here. This university is in the mountains, very far from the market. Students have to face some problem to get the items of their daily needs. To take admission in this university, children must have above 60 percent marks in 12th. University campus is big and very beautiful. Every thing like trees, roads natural beauty is maintained in very good way. College management is very cooperative to students and their parents. Many students from different countries take admission in this university. University is affiliated with UGC. University also set up their cancer research center which is very good opportunity for students who take interest in research. The name of the university comes in the top 10 ranked universities.

I have completed my graduation in microbiology from this university. I did not need to give any separate exam to take admission here. I got admission here only on my 12th percentile. This course is very interesting and curious. Initially, I used to find the subjects of this course very boring but the teachers here helped me a lot to understand everything. The way of teaching some teachers was very interesting and some teachers who used to walk only by telling their point of view. Doing B.Sc Microbiology was not enough to get a good job.

No doubt Shoolini University professor teaches very well but here only one teacher is available for each subject. There are 50 stable teachers in the whole university. If we talk about the qualification of the faculty members, then some of the faculty members are post graduates and some of the faculty members have done doctorates. Some teachers have good experience and some teachers have just joined as a fresher. If we were assigned a fresher teacher for any subject, then we have to prepare for the exam ourselves without the help of the teacher. Sometimes some new teachers were not clear their concepts.

If we talk about the placement cell of the university, then not all the students used to get very good placements. Only toppers get placed in reputed companies. Many companies from Pharma or IT sector come here for placements. But these companies give placement to toppers only. Students whose marks are 70 to 75% are not placed in good companies. These Students are placed in small companies on very low packages and there is no justice with the fees paid by them. If we talk about the tuition fees in this university so the fees are too high here. Not every middle class family affords to take admission for their children in this university. Sometime unnecessary charges are charged from students and after admission, students have to pay unnecessary charges under compulsion.

If you are taking admission in this university then you have to keep hostel because near by pg and rented room are not available for students. Hostel fees are very high. Food is provided 3 times a day. Food is not so good. No milk, egg and non vegetarian food is provided to students. If we talk about rooms of hostel then 3 seater rooms are available and rooms are big and airy. Water shortage is very common problem in hostel rooms. Security of hostel is quite good. On Saturday, hostel students were taken to the market by university bus. On the same day they have to buy the daily needs for the whole week. There are separate Girls and boys hostels. Overall food is average according to hostel fees.

Campus area is not so big. There are small 5 to 6 building only for 20+ departments. Canteen is available at every building for chilling out. Infrastructure of University is good. The good part of the university is its sports hall and canteen. If we talk about Experimental Labs, then Labs are very well designed. Medical support of University is not so good civil hospital is so far from University. Classrooms are well designed and maintained.

Campus is not so big but campus life here was very good. Chill out while sitting on campus is one of the best memories. Sports activities are held on time to time in university for students. Festival name SPRINT is the main and best part of University in which skill based program, cultural program are held. Best singer from film industry is invited in this program. Overall my experience is average in this university.
