Firstly I would say that the best thing about the college is affordability. In the current situation, where colleges are looting lakh of hard earned money and providing nothing but just a degree, this institute is offering quality education at affordable fee. The campus is spread in over 100 acres surrounded by lush green ambiance. The overall cost of the program for lateral entry goes something up to 500000 which covers all the costs. As the college ranks in top among all the engineering colleges under AKTU, the college has its own reputation and honour.

Now coming to the eligibility for the program, so you'll have to appear for CUET to get admitted in lateral seats while to get admission in first year you need to appear for JEE Mains. Then later you'll have to choose the college in the counseling and you'll be allotted the same if you are in the cut off lists. For 2nd year (lateral) - Diploma in any branch of engineering and for 1st year- 60% marks in Math with Science are required. My main motive to choose the program-B.Tech ECE is that I'm an electronics enthusiastic person. Devices, their functioning and manufacturing are what my interest lies in. The program teaches you all the current scenarios in development of electronic devices, you get to learn about IC'S (main component of any electronic device), and it makes you industry ready with hand to hand experience while pursuing the program.

The best part of the college is faculty here. Most of the teachers are Ph.D holders from reputed IITs and NITs. Some use visuals to enhance students learning while some focuses on old methods but no matter in what style they teach, you’ll grab every concept in a concise and clear way. Faculties here are very supportive, no matter what the time is, if you've any doubt you can clear it either through a phone call or paying a visit to their cabin. They encourage you to participate and hustle events with their right guidance, which provide us an exposure in problem solving and decision making.

Yes, we have an active placement cell in our college. Placements in Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur are quite good and decent. The placement team makes sure to get most of the students being hired. The training and placement cell have also collaborated with various companies, which helps students getting pre placement offers and experience various industry level programs. Average placement this year was something 600000 LPA and the highest was 1500000 LPA on campus and highest package in off campus was something around 36 LPA. The placement team acts like a mentor to students, guiding them with the best placement strategies.

Yes, we have enough accommodation for students in hostels. Mostly all of the students applying for hostels are being allotted, as hardly the hostel gets completely filled up. The college has more than 10 hostels in the campus. Hostels are surrounded by various fields and courts like basketball, volleyball, etc. You are allotted a 2 -seating or 3-seating room randomly. Amenities in the room include stuffs like wifi, fan, table, chair, and a wardrobe for each person. You don't get any option to choose air conditioned room as hostels don't have it but yeah you can bring your own coolers if you want to install in your room. Hostel charges are 10000 per year which is quite low amount as per the amenities given. Hostel life in KNIT is amazing. Seniors and juniors bond gets strengthen every day in the hostel which will nourish your professional life.

As the campus was built in 19’s, the buildings are old-fashioned unlike those pretty private colleges, which only have good buildings. But yeah from inside everything is in a proper condition, most of the classrooms are fully air conditioned and equipped with projectors. Infrastructure is average but amenities in those buildings are top notch. Labs are fully equipped with latest machines and equipment. We also have Texas instruments labs for ECE students.

Campus life in KNIT is good for those who love peace over city rush. The campus is situated in UP'S small town so you don't get that city life here but yeah the environment inside the campus and weather will take your heart. KNIT organizes nation level fest named Anubhuti every 2 year, this year it was held starring Singer -Yaser Desai, Dj Swattrex, Dj Tuhina, and Ablaze the Band. Every year the college organizes its own sports fest named Twaran which brings plenty of joy and fun in college life. We have several clubs like: Non tech clubs- PFAC (Fine Arts), Cultural club, Literary club, Sports club and Tech clubs- Bellatrix, Coding club, and more.
