Talking about my thorough experience at the institute, it has been amazing over these past 3 years at Nirma University. The campus has been as refreshing as always and the faculties have been a great help on my overall development. It was the aura and high accreditation of the university which made me select this university. Also, I got many good reviews about this college from many of my colleagues. I would recommend others to join this university as it is a top ranking university and that it will be a great opportunity to start your career.

Talking about the specific information of my course, I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering. The courses are systematically spread over each semester while keeping in mind that the pre-requisites for any subject are already covered in the previous semesters. The entry requirements for this course are a bit tough as this is the highest ranked course in our university. As per my knowledge, a minimum of 97 percentile is required in JEE Mains and a rank of about 400 is sufficient to get you into Nirma University CSE. For eligibility, a minimum of 75% is required in boards. The motive for enrolling in this program is to make a career into computer field. As this is a vastly growing field, there are many opportunities opening up in this industry.

The faculty members, who are teaching currently, 95% of them have a Ph.D degree. They all have their hands on their respective fields and are great masters of it. The teaching methodology is also good and they try to make the sessions interactive so that it does not look like simple communication. They also help with research works and other placement stuffs. They are always ready to help the students anytime of the day you go to them.

Yes we do have a placement cell at Nirma University named as III cell which helps the students with their placements. They are very supportive in this matter as they also give training on how to ace the aptitude tests, how to ace the interviews and they also provide the materials that can prove to be useful at the time of placements. So the cell really works hard towards the betterment of the students.

As of now, there are no residential facilities that are available for the students of B.Tech. But yes, residential facilities for girls are available here. Residential facilities for the MBA students are available as they compulsorily have to stay in the hostels at Nirma University.

There are many institutes at Nirma University. All the institutes have their own blocks. Especially, the Institute of Technology has the highest number of blocks, with 5 buildings totally dedicated to the students of Technology. The classes are great and the accommodation in those classes is very comfortable. There are also many labs available across all the blocks that are well furnished with computers to help students learn different things.

The overall campus life is very good. The crowd here is from various regions of Gujarat and some of the students also come from across many places in India. There are many clubs who have a motive of running those clubs. One such is the Robocon which helps students build their knowledge in robotics. There are many fests going on across the whole academic terms where all the students are eligible to participate in any events of their choice. Also there are many engaging events like hackathons, etc. which are organised for the upliftment of the students.
