IISc for M.Tech - The Best Choice

Overall Rating
I chose this institute for its long history and reputation for giving brilliant scientists and researchers to our country. Our college has the best of the best students because only 510 seats are there for this course and the applicants are in lakh. It made me what I am today. This institute has a wonderful college life too.
 

Academics Rating
To get admission into IISc is not everyone's cup of tea. You have to clear one of the most competitive and tough exams in India which is GATE exam conducted for those looking to pursue master’s degree in engineering through government colleges. You have to be under graduated or hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering to apply for this course through this exam.
 

Faculty Rating
One doesn't need to worry about the faculty because IISc has the best of teachers and professors in all of India. Most of them hold doctorates in their own fields and are really friendly with students. They teach in a way that will give you in-depth knowledge of the topics.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is marvelous in IISc. The highest package as of last year was 86 LPA and the average package stood at 23 LPA. Companies like Alphabet, Oracle, TCS, IBM, etc. are invited for recruiting.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of IISc is spread over 5 acres of land and the buildings have a very modern look. The campus is divided into 5 blocks A, B, C, D, and E respectively. We also have dedicated sports facilities for students which include massive playgrounds. We have our own Gymkhana for which separate membership is needed. We have 2 long swimming pools also.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at this college is unmatched. We have a main campus fests for all the students called Pravega which is organised every year and singers, dignitaries, movie stars are invited for concerts and other meetings. Sports tournaments are also held during this fest. We have our own clubs responsible for the fests like Sport club, Cultural club, etc.

    Overall, IISc is an excellent institute. I can feel a change in myself within a couple of days I was given admission to this institute. The peer groups here are just an excellent blend of fun, charm, dedication and ambition. I learn a lot from them.
