My overall experience about the institute is good. The studies of this institute are good. The professors are well educated and smart. The overall infrastructure of the institute is modernized with many shops and a hospital inside for the students and faculty as well. There are many fests, cultural activities and programs that are organized by the institute from time to time, which gives you the best feeling and vibe of institute life. The quality of mess food is good.

The course duration is 4 years. For admissions, you have to qualify JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced with a good rank which is quite difficult for all students. This institute has contribution in the field of Earth Science, directly impacting the energy sector. It is dedicated to the service of nation by providing its own faculties of research and providing top-quality engineers to the industry. Now, not only Earth Science, but other branches like Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Computer Science and Chemical Engineering are catered by ISM by providing top-quality resources. It has a dedicated department for Environment Science and Engineering which is best among the top-notch institutes of the country.

The faculty of IIT Dhanbad is well educated and experienced. Their teaching pattern is quite different so that students can understand easily. The faculty members are committed to provide quality education, personalized mentorship, and guidance to students. Yes, we have a placement cell at the IIT Dhanbad. The students have to work hard and give placement exams and quizzes, interview (offline or online). Regular quizzes for placement are conducted by the institute.

The hostels are well developed. They also provide high connectivity and high speed Wi-Fi in the hostel. The library is also present inside the hostel. No ragging happens inside the hostel. Lift, Electricity and water supply are available for 24×7. The hostel rooms’ size is big and available for double sharing.

The campus of IIT Dhanbad has wide range of area with amazing architecture. There is a big sports stadium in which you played all of the games easily. The fests are also conducted in the ground. The classrooms are smart classroom that are fully A.C. with lift and Wi-Fi facilities.

Campus life is so good and amazing. Many cultural fests, programs and other activities are conducted every year. Many celebrities are invited to perform in the fest. This fest goes on for 5 days in which you will enjoy a lot. The food is also included in the fest which is free of cost.
