I got an AIR of 793 in Jee Advanced 2022 and the options that I had based on my rank were either take CSE in IIT BHU or go for Electrical Engineering in old IITs. I was pretty clear that I want to take admission in Circuital Branch i.e. either CSE or Electrical as I didn't had much interest in Core Engineering i.e. I didn't want to do Mechanical or Civil. Hence, I proceeded with the Electrical (Dual Degree) stream at IIT Bombay. My experience has been pretty good but the only issue is that Dual Degree Students suffer a bit in their internship season as most companies tend to take B.Tech over Dual Degree but it has direct advantage over the placements.

IIT Bombay Electrical closes around AIR 1000, so if you have a CRL less than 1000, you can get enrolled in IIT Bombay in EE branch.

The name IIT Bombay itself tells a lot about the quality of the faculty. You will definitely find great professors who are very passionate about their field and if you are familiar with H index, then most of them have their H index in the range of 25 to 30, which is great.

Yes we have a very efficient placement cell. It brings lot of companies.

Yes, there are various hostels in our institute. Hostels allotted to freshmen year students have good infrastructure. Though, the accommodations of senior students need much improvement and renovation.

IIT Bombay has one of the best infrastructures across all institutes. We have a lush green campus and a big sports ground (Gymkhana). You will find facilities for almost every sport and you can live your dream of playing almost everything. Coming to Academic Infrastructure, there are good libraries, reading halls and cafeterias.
