My Opinion on GLS University

Overall Rating
My overall experience at GLS University is awesome. All the facilities listed in their brochure are provided. I would like to suggest if anyone wants to build their career in the field of Commerce or Management than it’s highly recommend. There are facilities for playing indoor and outdoor games.
 

Academics Rating
Students who want to enroll for B.Com (Hons.) need to complete 12th grade with minimum 50% marks. It is a 3 year Bachelors Degree and my motive for enrolling in this program is to learn more about Commerce and Accounting. This program is also beneficial for the students who are interested in pursuing Chartered accountants (CA) in the future.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of Commerce is too knowledgeable as well as highly qualified. Here all the faculties have Ph.D degree in their respective specialization. There are 3 lectures in our program from Monday to Saturday. All the teachers are very helpful to us. Faculty members of different universities & colleges are also invited in the university to take special lectures.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our university do have placement cell but I am not that much aware about it as students pursuing MBA have been provided good placement but that is not the case for Bachelor students.
 

Hostel Rating
No, GLS University doesn’t have its own hostels but they have collaborated with private hostels named "HIVE hostel" and "Stanza living". Facilities like Library, dance room, computer labs, auditorium, gym, etc. are also available there.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the university needs some renovation as the buildings are quite old.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is good and cherished. Crowd here is also good. It is an anti-ragging campus due to strict rules. There is no clubs but all the festivals and fests are celebrated in joyful manner. It's also safe for girls as well as disabled people who are in need of wheel chair or elevator.

    Basically, I never even knew I would ever end up in a field like information technology and ending up here was beyond imagination. I was completely new to the concept of Coding and such and actually wanted to get in Bachelors of Technology but later on I ended up in the Faculty of Computer Applications and Computer Technology.     My overall experience in GLS University is decent because the education is good here. While, the campus life is also pretty good because in this University we celebrate all festivals and also focus on Study. The main reason to select this University was the specialized courses curriculum where the students can learn various computer languages and also can practice them in University lab at the same time.     The overall college performance is very good and the methods of teaching are very understandable. The faculty’s behavior towards the students is good too. The classrooms are kept very neat and clean. This college gives amazing placements.     I particularly chose GLS University because it is one of the best universities in Ahmedabad. It is near also my house. I would say others should also opt any course here because it provides detailed knowledge in every subject and each semester has different subject.
